Video captured by motion activation is so slow to activate the camera usually misses the action entirely. Likewise, the activation of Live View is so slow that in the 15-20 seconds it takes to come up the action is usually long past. Neither the wired nor battery operated supported by solar chargers works during a Minnesota winter. Does anyone recommend a decent outdoor camera?
Tip for consumers: I have 5 Ring outdoor cameras, all supported by solar panel chargers and a wired Ring Doorbell, and all require frequent battery exchanges due to inability to hold a charge, with it being a bigger problem in a Minnesota winter. All are almost worthless in my mind, and I am very sorry I bought them.
Products used: I use Nest cameras indoor without problems but did not want to wire my outside cameras if I could avoid it. Maybe I can't avoid it?
