Why would anyone pay $1800 a year plus 80 an appointment for a service that doesn't even credential potential patients enough to ensure they are choosing the actual insurance they have? Not to mention the staff isn't on the same page. One saying getting refunded for this shouldn't be an issue and the next saying to bad tough luck. I would just do google ads... The system is awful.
Patients are responsible for selecting their insurance while booking on Zocdoc, and sometimes mistakes are made. If a patient is booking out-of-network, our platform has warnings in place alerting them to that fact prior to booking but some will choose to book anyway because they want to see the provider they have selected on Zocdoc despite their insurance status.
