I purchased (in good faith) a Transport Chair through this seller and Amazon.com
I needed to return it. Vir took that opportunity to surcharge me 45% of the original selling price, as his personal "restocking and processing" fee. Amazon used to protect customers from these types of restocking fees by 3rd party sellers, but sellers have been lobbying for years to change that policy. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way, it is no longer in effect! Now 3rd party sellers like this crook, can charge whatever they like and call it a "restocking fee" which he gladly did!
Tip for consumers:
I returned a brand new Transport Chair, the day after it arrived, using a FREE pre-paid return label, provided by Amazon.com. Two weeks later this seller gave me a partial refund, and charged me 45% of the original selling price (plus tax!) as his personal "restocking and processing fee". I lost over $122, and learned that NOBODY should ever buy from a 3rd party seller on Amazon, especially a home based salesperson like Vir Ventures.
