We got our AmeriSave Mortgage loan about five years ago. It was a fantastic process. Quick and painless as mortgages go. Thing have gone generally well but if you ever have issues that is where the trouble starts. In this case we decided to make an extra payment and send the payment in as usual using the provided envelope and sent it in the mail. We noticed a few weeks later that while the check had been cashed the credit had not shown up on our mortgage account. We called and they could not find the payment and asked us to email the service department. We email the service department with copies of the deposit and proof of cash from the bank. We get a letter back a week later saying "we are researching the situation." The fact is we are not months into missing a payment and the service consists of we might get back to you someday. I pointed out that if I skipped a payment they would not be so understanding but apparently the demand for patience only travels one direction in this relationship. Multiple calls to the service center have resulted in the response of "I see an open ticket, you will just have to wait for an answer."
