I ordered a coffee table from their website. It stated that it would be delivered in 4-6 weeks. It also stated that it was 262 pounds, which was fine because we were looking for a heavy quality piece. I ordered the piece and a couple of weeks went by and I saw on their webpage that the price on the item went down $250, so I inquired if they could match that price for me as I had just ordered it and it wasn't yet shipped. They stated that they would have to charge me a 30% restocking fee to do that. Huh? It hasn't even been shipped... what's there to restock? And 30%? I said 'forget it, I'll wait... '
So 6 weeks pass and I inquire as to where this order stands, they said orders go out 6-8 weeks. Hmmmm
8 weeks pass and again I ask, same old song and dance. I realize I am not going to get a truthful answer from this company. Also, their "tracking page" was just a cartoon picture of some trucks and buildings that never changed for the 3 months. So it was useless.
I end up receiving the table just shy of 12 weeks. The delivery guys show and were willing to bring the table into my apartment. I was happy with that as I wasn't looking forward to moving something that heavy. They took it out of the box (which was tightly packaged, which was odd because I was told it took 3 days to take it out and inspect it at the final shipping place) Then the 2 guys easily picked it up and carried it to the elevator. What? I asked how they could make 260+ pounds look so light? They said "260 pounds? More like 60 pounds..." Wait a minute... 1/4 of the weight it was listed on the website? They got it into my apartment and set it down with a rattling sound. It's basically a plywood box with sheet metal around it that isn't even adhered to the plywood. Can you say cheap? Can you say misleading? Can you say untruthful? I have expressed all these concerns as this transaction transpired and have gotten no satisfactory response. Again, another company that could care less about you once they have your money. Buyer beware..
