I've been a content creator for over 6 years. I've been through a couple of ad-pocalypses, including the COPPA saga. Despite all the changes made on the platform, I have still made strides as a YouTuber. While there are still changes that need to be made, I still give YouTube a chance to made said changes. For example, there are small YouTube channels that make the best content on the platform. So, why not change the YouTube Partner Program threshold from 1,000 subs to something like 750+ subs? Just a thought.
Tip for consumers:
My advice to up-and-coming YouTubers and first-time video creators: Find your niche, and keep making videos, so that you can make an impression on the platform. Whatever gets the most views on your channel, go in that direction.

Watching videos, rating videos, and uploading videos. Also, YouTube Studio (since I'm a YouTuber myself).
Patreon was designed to give content creators an avenue for making money outside of platforms like YouTube. The main goal is to allow creators' supporters to support them in more ways than one. While it's a good start for smaller content creators especially, Patreon might still need a bit more work. Perhaps offering additional help for small content creators. Maybe having a special program to help out smaller content creators...?

I actually have a podcast! And it's all thanks to Anchor! Anchor makes it so easy to upload podcast episodes and distribute them on various platforms (including Spotify).

I'm not sure why the VeggieTales online store hasn't done anything to stay relevant. There's the reboot show, which has garnered viewership over the years. The reboot served as a revival of the VeggieTales brand. So why can't the online store be rebooted and refreshed as well?!
