I was a member of shaadi platform from almost couple of years. I was first a free user, then bought a membership (for a few months), moved to free again, and finally bought the VIP services. I was happy with the platform database and the matches which search engines provided, until I bought the VIP services. I was allured by your marketing team about the VIP services, where she mentioned that I will be getting bunch of services as mentioned below. A representative. Detailed preferences for the search matches. 3-5 matches per week, exactly matching my preferences. Conference calls and conversation initiations from the representative to introduce the matched parties. A lot more to go on the list.
Unfortunately, I did not experience any of the above mentioned services. I was provided with a representative to start with, and it took about 1-2 weeks to make the representative understand my personal preferences. She was sending me the profiles which the app would suggest, without even looking into the profile matches and the preferences. I got random profiles, which did not match my preferences, except a very few which I was interested in.
I was told that the representative's father had a medical condition, and I will be assigned a new representative. I completely understood, and was being supportive. From this point onward, the representatives kept changing. It takes about 1-2 weeks to get the repo going between myself and representative, and by the time I was able to establish this, the representative changed. It was nothing but waste of time. I felt that I was fooled to spend my 3 months, so that they can get rid of me, and put money happily into their account.
Coming to the profiles that I was interested in, no conference calls were set up. In fact the representative did not even bother to contact the other side. She gave me contact numbers of the profiles, and asked me to contact directly. I could have gotten the contact numbers by my own with other memberships as well, and I did not have to buy VIP for getting contact numbers. There was one situation when the representative told me that she has spoken to the other side, and asked me to contact. When I did, the other person was pissed, and was questioning me on how did I get the contact info. I was completely embarrassed.
After a long disappointment, I started to raise my concerns through the VIP shaadi app. No response was received for about 2 weeks. I raised the concerns to my representative, and I was fooled. At the begining, the representative told me that she would inform her subordinate. And after that, no response for about a week. I asked her again, and she kept giving me reasons, and after about 2-3 weeks, she stopped responding to y messages, and I was completely ignored. During all these days, I was not provided any service. No information flow between myself and the team for long time.
Finally, I raise a ticket as well online, and then I was addressed by the team. I had to tell them the whole story, but unfortunately, I did not hear back any satisfactory response. I got fed up with the experience, and decided to leave the platform, and spread my experience to the world, by writing reviews across multiple websites to help others choose this wisely.
I was given an option to extend my VIP membership by 2 weeks as compensation, for fooling around me without any communication for months. Also changing representatives often. I did not feel that it was a fair bargain, and decide to leave the platform where the team does not have ethics, and the customer service approach. I will never suggest any one to get the VIP membership, in fact, I would suggest them to stay away from this scam.

I had placed order for "Panasonic UC24RKY3 2 Ton 3 Star Split AC" on 6th April 2016, and "V-Guard VG 500 Voltage Stabilizer" on 5th april. I am writing this review on 19th April. According to the website, the product ships after 3-4 days. They said shipment date is 11th April and delivery date is 15th April. Till now the product has not been shipped.

I called customer care 4-5 times asking for the status. They always say there is some problem and ask for apologies. When I request to talk to the senior executive, they always said they will arrange a call back. And I never got call back. Later somehow I managed to talk to senior person. He asks for almost a week to update on the shipment details (LOL). After almost a week, he still does not get back to me. I am pissed. I called them and asked them. They say they need 3-4 working days to ship the product again. I said I will give 5 days to ship and asked for 100% guarantee. They say they can not guarantee even for 5 days. Even today the product is available online and it says 3-4 days for shipping. I have attached the screen shot.

Tip for consumers:
Do not buy anything from this site. They look like theives.
