Ordered a book on 02-21 and was informed that it could take up to 14 days to receive it. Today being the 15 days I called them and was told that I was refunded the money on 02-25 without any notice to me, no email, no phone call to let me know that they screwed up or didn't have the book.
SO, I waited like an idiot for 2 weeks for a book that would never come anyway. Clearly Discover Books is the definition of a very awful customer service. In fact one could argue their customer service is non-existant. A simple phone call from Discover Books to me after I ordered to let me know that they couldn't meet their end of the deal would have done it. No they couldn't even do that.
I needed this book on the date it was supposed to be delivered because it is a required text book for a class. Again they screwed me over since they wasted my time for nothing and said nothing to forewarned me so I could have ordered the book elsewhere. I won't be ordering from this company ever again because obviously they don't care whether they fulfill their end of the deal or not.
If you are not on a schedule or don't care whether you get the book you are promised and don't care whether there is some useful interaction with a responsible company customer service, I suppose you can order from them, just be aware you are dealing with an unreliable and unprofessional company..
