Every other review is from a buyers point of view, so let me give you a view from the other side. I was selling items on EBTH and the whole ordeal started mid February, that's when I sent my items in and was told by the sales rep that my sale would start in late March or the very beginning of April. Well that didn't happen. They then pushed the starting date back to April 27th, low and behold that didn't happen either (btw I never received a call or any logical answer as to why the date keeps getting pushed back).

So, they push the date back to May 4th, and thankfully some of my items actually go on sale. You'll notice I said "some", that's because they left out 4 items, those items also happened to be the most valuable items I sent in as well (a platinum ring and a gold ring mounting and (2) loose diamonds, one yellow and one blue). Again, no calls or any attempting to reach out to me as to why they didn't list the items. I had to call them, and they could give me an answer as to why until they contacted another department.

These months had gone by and by the first day of my sale I was already feeling I had made a terrible decision. The company had also neglected to give me a copy of the contract I was made to sign and mail in with my items. After more than 4 calls and multiple promises that they would get me a copy of my contract, they waited until there was 1 hour left in my sale to send me the contract with their signature on it. So it basically took them over 3 & 1/2 months to send me a copy of the contract.

During the sale there were multiple red flags. 1.) They had identified a group of princess cut white diamonds as "white sapphires", which leads me to believe that they replaced them with sapphires or labeled them that way so they could buy them at a cheap price for themselves. 2.) They grouped all my items with other items, even ones that didn't go together. This caused them to receive less bids and affected my total sales amount. And 3.) They did not advertise my items anywhere like they claimed they would.

After the sale was over, I received the greatest surprise of all. I was told many days after the sale had ended that the yellow and blue diamond I sent in were found to be "synthetic", basically they weren't real according to them, even though the yellow diamond came with a certificate from a legitimate diamond appraisal company. They informed me because of this reason they would NOT be sending those items back to me. They basically stole them and told me that's what it says they can do in the contract I signed.

The last thing I have to say is STAY AWAY, STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are COMPLETE FRAUDS AND THIEVES. I am currently seeking legal counsel to deal with these issues.
