What assurance is there that the watches are not purchased or gotten in Hong Kong or elsewhere in Asia and refurbished, or even copies made in mainland China or Malaysia? There are very good copies, and even Rolex was caught in using some Chinese parts (as was the U.S. military in guidance systems in some fighters, for that matter). From the reviews with one star, Ashford doesn't allow replacement and claims perfection in never having fakes. How could buying a watch from here not be horribly foolish?

I believe it would be foolish to deal with this outfit, you do not get a Manufacturers warranty and there are too many complaints about them.

I think the whole site is bogus! If you find a cheap brand name item and try yo buy it... oppps. It was just sold lol

I cannot really comment because I was just a customer. However, in my case I find it very strange that a piece would just fall off of a genuine reputable brand. In my opinion, it would be foolish to purchase because their commitment to customer relations is the worst I have ever encountered. They were incredibly unhelpful, inconsistent and totally unwilling to resolve the problem themselves

My Calvin Klein watch was genuine. I had to have it fixed and I used an authorised dealer and they said it was the real thing.
