On the phone with a service representative I was told they must have a [another!] credit card -- I responded that they already had mine, and had already charged it. I told him they did not need a credit card, that their bosses at the b******* Broadcasting Corporation we're simply telling them so. AWFUL! AWFUL! AWFUL!
Because they want upfront money and want to automatically charge your parents for their "gift". I've contacted the FTC and my state attorney general as I refuse to give them my CC info and they are keeping my daughters money.
Yeah, it's pretty obnoxious that way. I didn't know that would happen until I'd already bought the code, emailed it to my mother, and then started setting up the account for her days later.
