I would not characterize standard account as bad at all. Yeah, maybe nothing extraordinary about it, but still I find it good for traders.
Perhaps professioanl scalpers will not that happy with this account as they seek ultra-thin spreads, tehn yeah, maybe it wont be a good option.
But if we compare with gold account, on average the difference on spreads between theset two accoutns can be just 0.3 or even 0.2, depending on the asset. And the leverage there is the same too.
As for no commision - it is better to refer to the broker's customer support team to get nuances.
So it is up to you to decide.
