How can you sell the Samsung 78" KS9800 curved 4k tv for $7144. 00? $2800. 00 off the retail price? Best Buy is selling it for $7900.00.Is it manufactured in China? Is the tv quality any different than what I would be purchasing from Best Buy?

Because Joe's AV will never send you the TV. They can sell things for whatever price they want. Then when you are sitting there for 2 or 3 months waiting for your TV, you will understand. If you are lucky enough to get these scam artists to send a TV to you at all.

Some suggestions. 1. Use a credit card so you have recourse. 2. When you get the unit, buy an extended warranty. If you spend $3000 and not a $200 extended warranty from the manucturer, you will regret it. The manufacturer will likely not give it to you if it is refurbished, grey market, etc. 3. Ask for a deliver by date, after which you can cancel. 4. Ask specifics, is it refurbished, is it grey market? Do it in writing. Knowingly falsifying information on a product sale is wire fraud, Federal. 5. Always document conversations in writing. We spoke just now at 5:15PM, you committed to... 6. Broken promises usually are followed by more broken promises. Keep conversations business oriented, volunteer nothing not directly relevant I wanted the TV for Thanksgiving,... No one cares, they will use it to sell you something else. 7. Be militant about documentation, your credit card company will ask for it all. 8. Buy from manufacturer authorized resellers. You can verify the business through the manufacturers web site. 9. Never, ever pay cash for high end electronics. Get a secured card if need be (its good to help rebuild credit) or use an escrow firm, like escrow.com or many others. If you find yourself saying that the fees are too expensive, ask yourself what an attorney is going to cost to get your money back from a firm with an existing reputation, out of your home state, vague information on the product you did buy, and a $3000 door stop?

I wrote a letter to American Express, LG, and Sony about this. I am hopeful that these companies take notice of the returns (which are cloaked by multiple incremental credits.). The Payment Card Industry takes your personal information seriously. If your information was compromised as a result of of negligence or intentional disclosure, you should contact an attorney.

You pay dearly for your credit card, use them as intended to protect yourself and the bank. The merchant knows their obligations, its very clear.
