on 7/22/15You should be. I bought mine locally and love it. The mower if fabulous. Mowerdirect.com is a nightmare.
Stayaway is the best advice I can give!. The customer service is terrible and difficult to contact.
If you buy your mower locally the company will back their product. Mowers Direct us a risky investment. Even Home Depot/ Lowes will take their defective products back without issue. Taking chances with this company.
My mower is still perfect with about 40 hours on it now. No complaints. One thing you need to look at with other sellers is the quality of the mower. Home Depot and Tractor Supply sell this mower with a crappy stamped deck and sometimes the engine is a Briggs and Stratton. I would never buy it with the stamped deck. My wife hit a 2' by 3' concrete slab with the deck of our mower and it moved the slab a few inches and did not do anything to the mower, except a small scratch.
Do yourself a favor; if you want to purchase this mower, go to your local Cub Cadet dealer and purchase the mower. Your savings will be in grief and aggravation.
Five stars from us. We ordered a Toro which arrived in less than 48 hours and works perfectly. Put together the handle, added oil and gas, and it started on the first try.
I would be skeptical as well. I was lucky my product came to me in the mail with no issues but I have read about other reviews in which products were received in a damaged condition and MD wouldnt stand behind the product they shipped. Their customer service responses to my email questions were extremely rude and will never order from them again because of it.
