I sent money to purchase a sleep set in August and have not received the item. I contacted them and this is the message I received.

"Thank you for contacting BoomStreet. We recently acquired the rights to the name and email database of this company. Unfortunately, the company as it previously existed is no longer in business.

We did not receive the revenues or any transaction data in regards to your purchase. I sincerely wish there were more we could do to help!"

What can one do to get the article or monies returned?

Contact the Retail Ombudsman. This is a new service and you can lodge your complaint with them online.
If you paid for your items by credit card you should be able to claim the monies back via your card provider.

I would suggest looking at their BBB page and file a complaint they'll answer and be more likely to refund you. There's been complaints filed since 10/01/15.

Really is awful what this company have done not only to merchants but customers. I ak a small business and have been left out of pocket by about £500 and nothing can do. Shouldnt be allowed!

Hi Brenda - that is the cut and paste answer they gave me too. I emailed them a third time demanding my credit and they ignored me this time. I posted my complaint on their Facebook page and not surprisingly there were a lot of complaints. They took my comment down and blocked me and I saw that they took everybody elses comments down too. Please voice your complaint on their FB page. They will eventually remove it but at least it will be seen during the time it's up there and if enough people do it they are going to be spending a lot of time removing a lot of comments. I'm going to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Please do the same. The FTC protects customers in cases like these. Let me know if you need help.

Credit card company should refund you in full. Emailing carl@nCrowd.com seems to work for some people too. I got credit for Boomtown by doing that.
