I just had 45 or so 8mm 3" reel from back in the 70's thru early 80's (when I went Hi8), a dozen VHS and two Betamax tapes done. I've yet to review them all but spot checks indicate that everything came out fine

I guess you can say this company is hit or miss? I sure know, as it was explained in my review of them, they missed big time for me. Perhaps it boils down to the condition of the material you send in for conversion? Or maybe the individual that is tasked with converting your items? All I know is I had to send several of my tapes back 3 times. Each time I got them back the old issue was fixed but there was a new issue that didn't exist before, whether it be the sound, picture quality, or the dvd cut short from what was on the tape. I sure know I would never used them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone else.

Of all the conversion companies out there, I only trust South Tree. They are very professional and it looks like they handle their resources very well as to not over-extend themselves.

I had over 30 tapes converted. Had no problems at all. Everything went very smoothly.

Waited six moths for my films to be transferred. Repeated emails. Frustrating. Wouldn't trust this company.

What are you concerned about exactly? I had twenty VHS tapes converted to DVD and was very happy with the process. The company was in constant contact with me as they converted my items. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
