We bought an expensive ceiling fan from these people in April 2015. We were told it was the best thing since ever and guaranteed. We had them install it to preserve the warranty. Well the fan has developed a problem. I called and e-mailed several times. Here is the quote from the actual e-mail I received dated 12.23.2015: "IT HAS BEEN EXPLAINED TO ME THAT DAN'S FAN CITY DOES NOT SERVICE OR REPAIR FANS UNLESS IT IS UNDER A WARRANTY CLAIM. EVEN WITH A WARRANTY CLAIM WE DO NOT PERFORM HOUSE CALLS." I was stunned, where exactly do they think they installed the fan? At the bus station?! This is my 2015 favorite for the stupidest response this year.
