“These guys are great!”

We recently rented a car from Payless Car Rental in Guam. We were picked up, on time at the airport and taken to their office. They upgraded us to a SUV which was very nice and the paperwork was minimal. Overnight, we decided we wanted a smaller more compact car and returned to their office. They put us in a new Hyundai with just over 1000 miles. We returned the vehicle on the day we were to leave with no hassles and a very nice ride back to the airport. The only drawback is their website infers that they are AT the airport which was confusing to us but, this is a very reliable company and the people there are of the highest standard. We have to visit Guam often and we will definitely go back to Payless Car Rental. Thanks guys.

This is the most terrible experience I have had all through 30 years of travelling and renting cars: 1- No Payless counter in terminal, and Payless is serviced by far away from the exit hall Budget counter where is a small A4 paper invisible there to tell you they deal with Payless. 2- Very very very rude Filipina lady sitting there that telling you all the time, and in response to any quistion, she is not working with Payless and just Budget is a third party agent, she refused at the start to call Payless to clear issues and refused to provide their phone number, she was soooooo rude in talking and acting. 3- I had the confirmation of my booking with a total price of 63.3 $ (around 240 AED) and with limitted to 100 km/ day milage option but she calculated total of 550 AED saying that there are hidden charges that Expedia do not mention (I took a better car from Hertz of the next counter and for just 211 AED with a free milage and without any drop off to other location or any other charges like the one she wanted me to pay. 4- Deposit: She asked for 4500 AED and Hertz deposit was only 1500 AED. There are no words to describe that lady there, thanks God I have manged to control my nerves. K

I sent a simple question about car insurance. One month later, I received this answer: "If you go on Paylesscar.com at the location policies you can see the requested details." Really? Do you think I would contact you if I found the requested details?
Highly unprofessional.
I cancelled immediately my car reservation.

Dont ever deal with them! They are full of lies. In addition, waiting time at lease 30 mins. Groupon charges one price and at the desk they adding another change! Very rude ignorant people! DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM! WORST WORST SERVICE!

I know i never took out my phone from the vehicle. I also know that the last time i used the phone was in the car before getting dropped tooooo the airport. I hope whoever is taking selfies with my phone falls down and breaks diablo! Never going to rent from your company ever again. Tooo ALL other customers, be really careful with your belongings. Houdini is alive Kaksaka!

This is my first and last time ever renting from this company. While reserving my rental with them it was $80. For 3 days of having the vehicle and returning the rental the grand total was 220$! I hate this company and will continue to tell everyone and every site how horrible the extra hidden fees are! This is not a way to keep your company alive. This company will eventually die out with the horrible customer service and the hidden fees! Companies survive with friendly service to achieve a continued relationship with their customers. Great service and no hidden charges means loyal and happy customers who will 9/10 times come back!

Warning: PLEASE don't use Payless Car Rental. I used rentalcar.com and the price that was given to me with tax was $109. When I walked out of Payless Car Rental the price doubled to $200. They told me I had to buy their basic insurance for $11 a day. I'm only renting this car for 5 days so it would come out to $55. If you do the math $109+$55=$164 I don't know where the extra $36 charge comes from. So watch your wallet if you decide to use Payless Car Rental or rentalcar.com you are actually paying more then the expensive car rental places.

I recently rented a car from Payless and the price booked was $167.00, when I arrived they tell me they only have a 2 door car in the price range I selected, so at first they say they can give me a 4 door for $10 dollars a day more, I tell them I will stick with the 2 door, so they say they will do it for $5 a day, I agree for the 6 day rental for a total of $30, without using a calculator this totals $197, but invoice now says $242. Then I return the car and get back home there is another charge for $15, I let it slide because I was too lazy to argue with them but now 3 weeks later there is another Charge for $55? WTF, I will never ever use this scam of a car rental again. (Location was San Diego)
