Coaches like to cover each others $#*! (fort osage). My son had a doctors note of NO CONTACT for 2 weeks & SLOW return after. My son went to 3 practices 2 were no contact (one the coach let him have contact) I have messages (4 different) telling the coach my son couldn't have contact per SPORTS MEDICINE & HIS DOCTOR'S orders.The coach was letting other kids come at my son WITH contact & I had to go on the field during practice to tell the coach to stop having my kid have contact, so we quit the team. The deal for my son to play was conditioning & running NO CONTACT plays until the doctor cleared him. I have xrays & TWO doctors notes. I also showed the coach & president my sons doctor NOT signing his physical to clear him to play. I have messages of me telling the president the coach was having my son have contact when I have a doctors note & nothing was done to the coach. Instead it was turned around on me like I was in the wrong. If i would of had to take my son back for a rebreak from football after they said he CAN NOT have ANY contact in sports, I could of got cps called on me for a coaches negligence. We've had problems with the coach cussing kids & screaming at them the whole game. The president said it was OK for coaches to cuss my kid if he talks back. It wouldnt be acceptable for a teacher to cuss & scream at kids, so it shouldnt be accepted from a little KIDS football coach. When u say something about how they treat ur kids they turn it around on u & say u are the problem & ur kid is just a fit thrower. But the coach begged my son to play for 2 years when I was telling him no & asked him to be on his basketball team(I have messages). One year a volunteer coach told my son "take his helmet off & get the $#*! off the field", he was 10. The president said thats ok behavior from a child's coach if ur kid is "throwing a fit", when in fact my son wasn't "throwing a fit" the coach was screaming & cussing at all the kids the whole game so my son told him to quit talking to him like that cussing at them wont make them play better & he was told to get the $#*! off the field. According to the president he watched it happen, which is a lie, he was warming up with my husband who was coaching with him behind the bleachers on a field that the game could not be seen from. There were a whole sideline of parents who were yelling because of how my son was treated SO if he was watching why didnt he say something? Or see the whole sideline of parents pissed & yelling NOT JUST ME? Instead he said it was OK he don't blame that coach when u have a "fit thrower" (which wasn't the case several parents were there). TEACHERS that have had kids on his baseball team have said they would never rejoin his team cause how he is as a coach. The coach I'm speaking of has lost almost all his original players the last few years AND has lost coaches because of how he treats the kids & acts. The coach has been thrown out of a game & ALMOST thrown out of games for disrespecting the refs. Parents & coaches from other teams we played against have complained about how he "talks" to kids & acts during games. There have almost been fist fights happen between coaches also coaches & parents DURING games (not just 1 or 2) because of how they treated the kids. I know at least 4 coaches that have walked out on the team & at least 10 players who left his team because of how he acted. The coach has also walked out in the middle of games throwing a fit. Another parent that was on this same exact team left a review of having a "HORRIBLE" experience with coaches just last year (we didnt even play last year) so they can try to lie if they want, but there are SEVERAL other parents who will say the same about the coaching. Most of his kids that left his team for his actions have joined a team TOGETHER, even a coach is on the other team now, they try to say it was the parents but no way several parents could have the same or close to the same bad experience with this coach. Its also not appropriate for a president/coach to show up to kids practices smelling like beer.

We have played Pop Warner for three years. Our son's 12U team won the Divison 2 National Title last year. This year, as a 13U team, our team made a return trip to the Super Bowl, only to discover that Pop Warner filled Divison 2 with THREE Division 1 teams. Two of these teams LOST their league's championship and Region championship, only to drop to divison 2 this playoff season. We know that not every league in America has a lot of quality of depth in 13U, but for Pop Warner to willingly tear apart any smbelance of fairness is disgraceful. Teams in the Eastern Region clearly were robbed of opportunities as Diviosn 1 Downingtown steamrolled through to the Super Bowl. As our team, Oviedo Lions, faced this team last night in the championship game, it was apparent there was no chance of an upset. Multiple horrendous calls and THREE scores were taken from us, sevrly impacting the abiity to compete. When you are left with the knowledge that you faced three D1 teams in the d2 championship, with mindblowing calls against your team every step of the way, it is hard NOT to assume adults making political decisons on twhat makes certain teams in Pop Warner look good. Pop Warner...if you are so scared that the d2 13U divison is not quality, then why rob so many teams across the nation the opportunity to prove it? Pop Warner has an ad campaign targeted at parents, "Do Better". Well...follow your own advice. Nothing said or done will change the outcome or the feelings our young men have of never really having a fair shot last evening, or adults ruining a kids' game. But i for one, will not put my grandchild on a Pop Warner team. As an owner of multiple schools that serve elementary aged chcildren, as well as being a middle school teacher, I will make sure that everyone knows that Pop Warner is a clown organization, espicially when there are several better options in youth football to choose from now. Do better Pop Warner. You are a disgrace.

We have been with Pop Warner for 2 years and we loved and enjoyed it. I just wished my kids can go back on the team. Over a silly mistake :( that didn't even last 2 seconds on social media! I wished they would let me appeal it.
