I can judge that well, since I have been a customer advisor myself for decades and have also worked in different countries, such as Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as in the USA, on the east coast (Florida) and west coast (California).
Cristin mastered and completed this difficult matter to my best satisfaction, even though different countries with different times of the day were involved. In addition, language barriers had to be overcome. That's why I will be shopping at NHL.com again and will continue to do so!

I sadly got fooled as they first sent me the wrong jersey. I returned it and got store credit so I can re-order the right one ($200 purchase btw). Then the same jersey was mysteriously out of stock, forcing me to buy a more expensive version of it ($265). I bought it, as it was an xmas gift. The best part - The shipping estimate was 3-7 days. Now my estimated delivery time is not until 5/10/23 for something I ordered before XMAS.
There are no customer service representatives. This site is an embarrassment to the NHL. I hope everyone reports them!
Order kept getting delayed so Christmas gift received on Feb. 10th, and it was the wrong size.

I have spent over 8 hours trying to solve this problem with them.
NHL Shop has taken $409.35 over several contacts, and I have got $170.83 returned.
I have also called and been transferred and after 30+ min calls have been dropped.
Today I was charged $79.74 and I of course have not purchased anything from the NHL Shop and never would again. I am 2 hours into trying to resolve with no resolution on its way.
You would think NHL Shop would be a a great experience, considering pricing and how big they are.
But it is a literal NIGHTMARE

As an employee of a NHL team, I've seen countless jerseys be produced in-house for customers whether it's during games or just customer orders via online. Seeing the (cough) "quality" of these jerseys makes me appreciate ours all the more. We do jerseys with heat pressed name and numbers (industry standard lettering) and offer stitching for those who want a little extra durability. The jersey I received from these guys was a standard Fanatics women's jersey but instead of name/number lettering done via heat press, it was the equivalent of iron-on patching. This should be embarrassing not only to these guys as an official linked source of retail product to NHL teams but to the NHL itself for letting such amateur product represent their brand. They take a perfectly good jersey and make it look like the ones you order from overseas for $50-$60. Unbelievable.
Some advice - if you absolutely must have/want a jersey from them, order a blank jersey and then have a local embroiderer order the proper name/number kit from a vendor that handles professional team accounts (Silver Crystal is a good example of this). DO NOT let these guys ruin your jersey like they did to the one I purchased. Honestly, I'd give them ZERO stars if the option were available.

I placed my order on January 4th, 2023. Today is January 19th and it says that it may ship by the 23rd. I bought this as a gift for my 17 year olds birthday, which is on the 23rd. What am I supposed to do? Show him a picture of the $250 jersey I ordered and say EVENTUALLY it MAY get here, if you're lucky? There is NO way to contact an actual person either. No email address, only a physical mailing address, an 800 number that tells you your order status but gives you no option to speak to anyone (probably a good thing because I'm mad), their "live" chat is not live, they are pre-programmed responses. Avoid, the costs of jerseys is apealing but please avoid, I am still waiting after 1 month of ordering a jersey. I might get the jersey just before the player gets traded.
Ordered on Dec 5th, 2022. Shipped with Roadie. Never delivered. Roadie driver left it on the road near the front of my housing development. Second delivery never made it for an unknown reason. NHLshops say it's not their problem. I'm out $80 bucks. STAY AWAY.

I bought an NHL jersey a couple months and it was great so I ordered another one on black Friday as a Christmas gift. The jersey was still 167.00 after sale. The patches are NOT stitched on, they are iron ons with the stitches printed on the edges! What terrible crap.
So, I ordered a jersey on the website. My wife and I are new to buying NHL jerseys, and we did not know which number matched the jerseys sizes. We only knew S, M, L, XL, etc. So, I used the size scale provided to purchase the correct size. I received the jersey, and the size I ordered was COMPLETELY TOO SMALL! Why have a size chart if it is not realistic nor helpful? I double checked the chart for accuracy, and Yep! Men's large is listed at 44. NOT EVEN CLOSE! So, I tried to exchange it. NOPE! YOU HAVE TO RETURN IT AND REORDER A NEW ITEM! So, I started the process. The options were to lose $10 and have the money put back on my card or have the money put on a Fanatics e-gift card for the full amount. I knew at this would cost me money as I used a coupon on the website, and it may not get the same discount. But I want all the money I spent back to reuse to get the correct jersey. So, I chose the e-gift card. I returned them item. I received the e-gift card, and you guessed it! They shorted me $7 dollars. SCREW THESES GUYS! Save your money go someplace else. They will still your money left and right.
I place an order and none of the discounts were applied. I signed up giving them and a partner rights to send spam, but that discount and free shipping was not applied. When I called to get it corrected, I held 10 minutes, then was put on hold by a customer service agent who never came back on the line. I'm cancelling the order and will never shop with them again.
I ordered three hoodies for me and my two sons. The product looked like a nice dry fit style sweatshirt. When i got them i realized that i paid two hundred bucks for three tee shirt material fake pullovers that you can easily see through when you hold it up to the light. Complete garbage product. Answer: Won't do you much good. I used email on the PayPal receipt twice - no response, and used the following one from the "Contact Us" page three times. Never a response Anna: jerseyservice@smailu.com PayPal receipt also showed name in Chinese characters and throughout the site you can tell that English is definitely a second language.
Answer: It takes them over a month to even ship orders. Highly suggest buying from Sportchek instead.
