“Spiritual Networks Was Great! Sadly missed”

Lisa L.
9/30/21

Spiritual Networks was one of the best networking sites for spiritual persons across the globe and it is a sad loss for everyone that it's no longer online. The site actually glowed with positivity. Never did I experience attitude or opinion. All religious backgrounds, spiritual paths and cultural beliefs from around the world came together for real thought worthy discussion, surveys, advice. Everyone was calm and NICE unlike other social media out there. It was a rare gem in an otherwise cesspool of marketing and networking. I had valuable discussions with people around the world, was included in a book and met my first radio interviewer on there. It was pure jealousy and undermine efforts that caused that site to go offline. Because the admins included advertising from psychics was a criticism from a few plus a moderator in a bad mood on occasion?! Now look with what were stuck with! Other networks serve their purpose but none ate spiritual in design. I wish Spiritual Networks would come back online.

It's a bunch of fluff because if any real dialogue comes up you will be banned. The site owner has serious control issues and is very ego driven. He did often comment on mine and other girls photos in an extremely objectifying way often. I can't say that's really new since I get that walking in public but you'd hope for more out there. I did make some friends and a couple of them taught me quite a bit and for that I'm grateful. Just make sure you know how to get in touch quickly in case Jason deletes your account.

I recently got banned from the site, and despite the fact some people there are really trying to look forward regarding their own spirituality, the site owner has very problematic issues of control, very ego driven with no connections to surroundings what so ever. I wasn't mad or upset by this, he just proved my words. No one can find spirituality on a site, at best you can find people to share something with. Now... given the situation a more powerful way to meet great people is to get out in the world and talk to them.

Mad... I got banned!

Sad... I didn't get the opportunity to reach out & save my friendships and informations, prayers and personal messages of comfort and support, photos of my son, poetry, and more. Good loving people on that sight that so helped me through my sons death last year and still were helping.

Glad_ I don't want to be in any group where one is coaxed into a controversial conversation by the owner and then doesn't want you to have an honest opinion that is not his.
What an unfortunate end.

SpiritualNetworks makes the spiritual experience fun. Anytime I need to be uplifted I go there to read and look at the many positive messages. But there are some drawbacks that needs to be fixed too.

I have been sharing on Spiritual Networks since 2012 and all of a sudden I could no longer log into my account. Thinking this was just a glitch I contacted the site a couple of times then began doing some research. It appears all my blogs are gone so I'm guessing I've been kicked off the site. This is beyond bizarre. I've never been banned from any website. I can see if there was a problem or concern to be contacted in advance of being banned, but to just suddenly ban me out of the blue for no known reason is unfathomable. To have spent time creating connections etc then have this happen, this is totally unfair and unprofessional on the site's part. Don't waste your time with this strange site.

I did very well in Spiritual Networks for several months to a year. I met many individuals. It felt like a high-strong energy. I chose to send one of those pictures with quotes of John Lennon, because I felt he was a very enlightened teacher in his time, to Jason the Spiritual Networks owner's wall, several of my friends' walls on Spiritual Networks, then I get this e-mail from Jason the manager of the site and says to me angrily, "You cannot post 4 pictures on a person's wall, ONLY send one." Very angry energy from this very mellow site. I stayed with my mouth shut but sent a letter to the friends that I sent it to trying to tell them my intent is to share the harmony that I felt from this singer's song. I felt unwelcomed, I felt uncomfortable interacting with other members this leader of this site got along with, he seems to approve others and it's like my voice of expression has been limited and restricted from the manager of this company. He then sends a letter that he represents the women that are fragile and sensitive in the community and that he cannot tolerate certain things that are done to them. How about the men? Men are susceptible to verbal abuse from women and from men. There seems to be a gender-thing of identification. I had been very nice to everyone in Spiritual Networks, the members, if anyone felt threatened by an image of a heart and a smile that has something like "I want to share this with you" and it has the image of John Lennon on it, come on. I think the intuition in the community, in Jason, is clouded with judgment, with hate, with a justice mentality when there is no need for this.

The owner deleted my account for asking a question. He's totally stuck in his ego and a total fraud. Don't just walk away from this site... RUNNNNNN... Don't waist your time... especially if you hope to share your events or promote your personal spiritual business.

Tip for consumers:
Don't do it.....

If you don't agree with Jason's point of view, you risk that your account will be deleted or your email login will no longer work. Ego is running rampant apparently, but Law of Attraction will sort it all out in the end - Beware of an ego-driven, "leader" - well, we all get to play "king" in dress-up here and there. Decide for yourself if you want to be part of his "court" or not... Alaniya Patton

Tip for consumers:
Tip: don't upload pictures or content you cannot afford to loose - get email connections going with those you resonate with, so that a sudden account blocking will not matter.

I had been an active member since 2011, participated and shared my own work with their "community". Randomly my account was deleted, no explanation, I contacted them more than once as to why and wasn't even responded to. I was blocked from the Facebook page as well.
I am a level II Reiki practitioner, active in the spiritual community and I host events, meditations, classes etc. I don't think there is anything spiritual about the way this site conducts business. All events that were shared with Spiritual Networks were FREE of charge to spread love and light, which in theory should be the foundation of anything that calls itself a "spiritual" anything.

Tip for consumers:
Just don't. Find a better legitimate community . Try Soul Healing Light on Facebook.

HORRIBLE! There is nothing spiritual about the people running this website! I was getting solicited left and right. I made a post about it and they banned me from the website. I sent 3 emails asking why. No response. Funny how they are in violation of their own terms and conditions. PATHETIC sickos. Such a shame because there are so very nice people-guess they don't realize what a scam it is yet.

I was participating on this website sometimes for months. One day I send this joke on a picture: "Sometimes when I closed my eyes, I can't see."

And I was ban without any explanation...

I wish i had read those comments before registering on this site...

I joined in January 2011. I was very active for a while and stopped for a few years and have been active again this past year. I have never done anything amiss and posting most days. I went to sign on the other day and my email does not exist so I signed up again and was accepted (thought this was a mistake or a fluke) and posted if anyone knew what happened as I didn't want to start over again and voila the next day I again could not sign in as my email did not exist in their system. I went to the Facebook page and posted if anyone knew why this happened and I was deleted from the Facebook page too. No contact or explanation has been made to let me know how or why this happened.

Zero stars

Many members there are very warm-hearted but Jason McElhone is a lying hypocrite who posted pics about love & unity but in personal messages gets insulting and deletes everyone who has another point of view. That`s not spiritual, that`s mean & cowardly.

Disgusting!

As a Spiritual person it has never really been easy fitting into traditional society. When I found Spiritual Networks 2.5 years ago my first reaction was one of joy. It was so nice to find a place full of people who were like me. Spiritual and loving. The majority of the posts are always uplifting and really bring sunshine to a cloudy day. I have always felt so loved and accepted there. The rules I feel are pretty easy to follow: no nudity, no bullying other members, no cursing and no talk of drugs. I appreciate having a safe environment to socialize and discuss spirituality. The site owner has gone above and beyond to make everyone feel safe, loved and accepted. I appreciate all of the work that goes into running such a big network and I am beyond elated to call Spiritual Networks my home away from home. I'd recommend it to everyone on a spiritual journey who is looking to connect with likeminds.

I recently got banned from this website, as I was asking help on my medical Marijuana, I used the word "Marijuana" twice, and the rest of the long post went about my pain, I suffer a neck hernia, and arthritis in the same place, for the last past 6 years.

I was asking people alternative ways to ease the pain a little bit.
Jason (Spiritual Networks account) said I have to delete the post, as it was promoting drugs, witch is in violation of the terms.

I explained I wasn't promoting it in any way, as I found using it after 6 years it caused me emotional problems like feeling down sometimes, and being tired all the time, and that I wanted to save the comments I got on that post (30+ comments, all positive) Also I tried to explain that the plant was put on earth by god / Great Spirit in order to help people, with chronic pains, and other problems like epileptic and such, witch is proven to help a lot.

After posting that answer in my post, I got a new notification, so I clicked and the post was gone...

After that, I posted a post that I was disappointed in a big way as I could not save any advice people have gave me, and that I would not post anytime soon anymore (I was frustrated a bit, but I kept it friendly and and clean)

After a notification on that post, I clicked it, and I was logged out, and not able to log in back again. I was banned, all of my blogs, readings I had in my messages where gone, all of my friends where gone. Not given a chance to save some of my work...

After that I received a few emails from people on there, and one of them went in a discussion with Jason, and she got banned for sticking up for me also...

I have one friend on there, and she showed me, that Jason is saying I was promoting drugs, and that "he got real nasty with me" on public posts from people who are asking where I went...

I can say with a clear consciousness I never talked trash about him, or even went in a discussion with him about this whole subject.
A big disappointment as I just became social active again after a major depression, Jason is really playing with people on "his" website.

And the weird thing is, he said I was violating terms. But at the same time, he ask people in the shoutbox (for everyone to read, 100.000 members so far) to click on the ads on his website, because he wants to keep it free. In my eye's that is illegal, and fraud, and a money making scam. But again, that is in my opinion, I just wanted to share this with everyone on here, so people will think twice before making a account on there, be aware! You can lose it really easy, and always back up important stuff, and never give private information to anyone with the message system there, he reads it all, and when he read something he don't like, you get banned just as easy..

Tip for consumers:
Google Spiritual Unite, I found this is a good alternative if you want to join a spiritual social media website.

I experienced censorship from them after posting a photo of Santa cutting pot on a kitchen table on my wall and was eventually blocked when I addressed freedom of speech as fundamental to all avenues of growth. I was pretty infuriate at first but was glad it happened... the censoring and block showed "Spiritual Networks" their true colours.

Of course Jason has to ban some people from the site, especially if what they are saying is derogatory or insane. I get into great conversations with people on that site, and as long as you don't swear, don't put pictures of drugs or weapons, you'll be safe. Cool site with some good people, i would recommend it. Some people might have something to hide if they got booted out of the site.

I was a member of that site for about a year, made over 600 friends, posted more than 40-50 commentaries and threads, no negative or critical responses on any of them. One fateful day I committed the fellony of a humoristic -open-welcoming post to a new member, where I in self-irony described myself as being a fanatic. (the exact words were as follows:"Welcome! No worries Txx, we are all fanatics here. Or at least I am! And they are quite friendly towards me anyway... No idea why. And one does not even have to be a fanatic to join, they are this open minded. Guess I just lost my point. Anyway, welcome!")
My account was immediately terminated.
No warning, no message, no explanation. When asking the administrator via another newly established account "Hi there, I wondered if my former account by the name xxxxxxxx has been removed and if that is the case, why? Regards, xxxxx",
Instead of an answer he terminated that account immediately as well.
I am no perfect person, so I hope this does not seem like I want to judge him, guess we humans are all "work in progress".
I just cannot help having a weird feeling about this way of acting, especially of a person that infact seems to be interested in spirituality and selfrealization.
He has done an admirable job creating the framework of the site.
The content is created by the members only( have personally not seen a single thread of his in my time...), which is a great thing, but as such of course differs widely both in quality (though of course quality may really be just a subjective thing.?.) and everything else, as we humans differ. But spirituality is not what we read or think/believe, but what you and I do (or do not do) at this right moment.
And since Jason refuses to talk to me in any direct way at any time, I am left with only my impression of his behaviour and this is as stated earlier above.
All best. Frederick.

The problem you have with this network is generally a human one. It isn't a site for sharing so much as for self-promoting and with it you'll find those just as dogmatic and pushy as any found in fundamentalist "orthodox" religion. And because it is comprised of people with failings and the unfortunate blindness to their own failings-just like all of us- it does not create that special paradigm of spiritual community that it would be if the participants were even half as intelligent and evolved as they think they are. If a person is truly spiritually seeking, it is much more to their benefit to look within their own community and deal face-to-face, with living people than to substitute it with contrived and fraudulent internet personalities

If you get involved with this man he will take everyrhing you are worth on. Many levels... especially spiritually... he uses harrping devices... to make people do things for him. Like a puppet. Not only does he rip you a new ahole... he will. See it that your world is dark. And then say you see you are negative...

This site has no privacy. The owner of this website reads everyone messages and then banned you if you try to make a friendship outside his network (Example; Facebook). He falsely accused people and then delete your profile if you confront him about it.

I am an author and I do "Wellness Coaching" on the side. I was a member about a year ago and then took a "Sabatical" and returned a bout a month ago. So I'm doing my thing, sharing content, helping people with various problems, talking about my books. Guess Jason the webmaster realized I was gaining steam fast, he got scared and banned me for "helping people"?

Here I was helping someone and he writes me "stop putting your square peg into someones round hole!" What EXACTLY does that mean?

Then after I was gone he told everyone I had created multiple profiles to sell my books. The guys a COMPLETE fraud, doesn't know anything about spirituality nor its concepts he was "ANYTHING" but spiritual!

A two bit con man nothing more!

I have to admit there are some good people on there but Jason DOESN'T let people be themselves and he's ALL about making $$$, money and spirituality DON'T mix, Bad Mojo Jason NO wonder your site is going down!
