It's a misnomer that getting a credit card is going to make your life better. Right? Unfortunately, our society has fallen prey to banks deceptive practices and predatory lending to everyday Americans that aren't making enough to get by as income and inequality get worse as if that's not the case already. But I digress!

-DISCOVER sells their product(s) as if you're always getting the 5% cash back, now I know that was never true to begin with when I applied to getting a card through them. Getting 5% cash back is only available throughout certain times of the year/month/Quoter per calendar year, You DONT automatically get enrolled to receiving 5% cash back, you have to enroll in it periodically by checking your account for upcoming promotions. So I think you get my drift here with their rewards program! Moving on...

-"THE UNITED STATES OF DISCOVER, FRAUD AND PREVENTION DEPARTMENT" Is and absolute a joke, to put it lightly. These folks have no clue what they're doing. Attached with this review are photos of a dispute regarding Alibaba for an item purchased that was not as advertised and was delivered the wrong item, a cheap POS made in China item. After providing sufficient amount of documentation and following their instructions specifically to support my claim, DISCOVER said "Na' go F your self Mr. Smith". Moving on...

-As you can see in exhibit (A) boys and girls, every month the account is paid in full "Statement Balance". Since paying the account off and not having it being used for several months now; Occasionally we get in the mail, US Mail that is "Checks"! Yes, Checks! For those of you that don't understand how checks work for credit card issuers, they are absolutely predatory. DISCOVER realized we no longer are using their product and assume that we could use some checks to take cash out of and ATM and pay double transaction hefty fee of 5% of whatever the amount is your going to take out of the ATM. I never and have never used checks that credit card issuers send out, you pay double the interest and fees on top of that. You need to read the terms carefully, your going to get screwed!

-Folks, bottom line here is this' I travel frequently and ran into several merchants where they don't take DISCOVER! Their rewards program the way they have it structured is... We'll... Stupid! It makes no sense.

-There are so may great cards out there that give you great rewards or cash back that you can take advantage of, as long as you pay off your balances in full every month, you can enjoy your rewards. But if you plan on not taking advantage of rewards or cash back and you're going to make monthly payments, you need to get a balance transfer card with zero percent introductory promotional rate or low interest rate card.

-What have we learned so far class? Stay away from DISCOVER products! That's right class, you're now an informed consumer!

We had WM services for over 6 years, and so many missed picks ups. Normally, I let things go and I don't let it bother me, it's not like the world is about to end, right?

My line gets crossed when you screw me over on the billing and charge me fees for "Overflow Cans" because you missed a trash pick up after telling me to pack tight the trash as much as you can for the next delivery pick up and set aside any trash you might have after waiting an entire 3 weeks for you to pick up my trash!

You failed to tell me that you're going to screw me over by charing me fees because my trash cans are overfilled after you missed a pick up! So you're telling me, you missed a pick up, force me to stuff my cans to a point where they're overflowing and charge me for your mistake!

Ive been very patient with your services and I understand the lack of labor do to Covid. What do you do?... lets screw our customers by charging them ridicules fees and tell them "Its do to supply chain shortages" or "Its do to global warming" or "Were trying to save the planet"... Please! Spare me your BS!

And Im sick and tired of going outside to pick up trash off the ground and the road because trash falls out of the truck when the cans get dumped into the trash compactor. Trash ends up on my driveway and the front yard. Really Im getting tired of being a trash picker upper, I'll be sending you a bill with photos for my labor!

And I appreciate the gesture on how I need to "THINK GREEN", I have plenty of cannabis stores near me with all the anxiety I get from you.

35 Gallon cans don't work! You give us 35 gallon cans, because you know that most households are going to overfill these small cans and charge them fees! And, if I want a bigger can I have to pay more to get a reasonably sized can to accommodate the average family sized home!

I have no words to say, What should I expect. Your a large corporation that services our region and yet, Im expected to hire your services while you find ways to screw me over and continue to miss picks ups and to add a cherry on top screw me over with your fees for YOUR mistakes!

We bought a theme through Shopify and realized that the theme we bought was not going to work for us. So the day after, we contacted Shopify and told them we aren't going to be able to use this theme since it's not going to meet our needs and would like to be refunded $330.30 for the the theme.

The issue here is that Shopify does not state this at check out or when you're shopping through themes. Shopify only mentions it after the fact and when you file a dispute, only then they show you their policy hidden deep in their "Fine Print" that all theme sales are final. This is how Shopify makes $6.5Bil/Year and their CEO making an average of $12.3/Mil/ Year in revenue by finding ways of scamming you! Comcast/Xfinity is an expert at that!

Long story short, we are already disputing this with our credit card issuer to resolve this. But Shopify now told us after 30 days of disputing this with Shopify that all sales are final even though we were guaranteed on several occasions/chat sessions that a refund was being issued!

My advice is, go with another website for your store. We already use IONOS and there awesome! Their billing is straight forward and there aren't any issues with refunds should you come across requesting one.

Plus look at all the reviews here, they're so bad we should have read reviews first before opening an account with Shopify. So, ya shop at your own risk.

And my advice, if the CEO in any company is making more than $5Mil a year in salary, don't trust that business, go with it if you must, but be carefully how you spend your money with that business, they will find a way to screw you over.

Either way, the house always wins!

Shopify is sneaky with their billing and will not offer refunds for themes and other services provided..
