I know that nobody from iHeartRadio will read this review, and I know that you can't really complain about something you listen to for free, but I feel the need to get this all written down somewhere and I can't seem to find any kind of review section on their website. Gee, wonder why.
I am forced to listen to this crappy service at work every night, for ten hours straight. I have asked repeatedly for my supervisor to get the music changed and all they do is put on a different iHeartRadio station, because they're too freaking stupid to get the point even though every one of us with a brain is thoroughly insulted by what we have to listen to on a daily basis. IHeartRadio seems like they can only get the license to play any given artist's three or four most popular songs, and they play them with such repetition that you will easily hear the same song twice in an 8-hour period. That's regardless of what station you're listening to. And keep in mind I'm forced to listen to this crap every night. There are songs that I'm so sick of hearing that if I hear them ANYWHERE else and I have the choice to change what I'm listening to or leave the premises I do so immediately. That's how repetitive the songs are on iHeartRadio. The repetition is so bad that I'm not even that interested in listening to the music I DO like because it's always the same uber-popular songs and I can usually name at least 5 songs by most artists that they don't EVER play.
And as repetitive as the songs are, the commercials are even more so. Yes, they have to have commercials because God knows I won't ever pay them a cent to listen to their crap, so they have to get their blood money from somebody. But apparently they can't even sell ad time to a decent variety of companies. And some of these companies that they sell ad time to have managed to write some ANNOYING radio spots. So pair annoying repetitive songs with even more annoying TWICE as repetitive commercials, and you have a combination of suck that has me constantly having to refrain from throwing stuff at the loudspeakers at work.
It's probably good that I'm not working at a Gun factory, because I'd have probably shot all the loudspeakers out by now. IHeartRadio, I cannot say this with enough emphasis: You suck on every level, in every time zone, on every planet, in every universe. The only thing IN this universe I hate more than you is my ex-wife.
