I seriously advise you not to use this company.
We have just returned from a charity trip to The Gambia, where myself & my brother in law booked a twin room.
The booking actually says "Two Beds, Please provide twin room only".
We got there to find that the hotel they booked us into doesn't actually provide twin rooms.
What make it worse is that the hotel manager showed me correspondence between himself & the booking company, where he states "Twin room / twin beds do not exists at Calabash. Again wronging your potential clients".
To which the agents reply is "Am sorry but this has nothing to do with the room type, it's just a remark made by clients".
They want us to pay extra for 2 rooms, but we were top pay the difference ourselves, we refused, they said they would call us back in 5 to 10 mins.
The call did not come.
In the meantime we are sat outside in the street at 8.30pm in The Gambia with our luggage, waiting for a call that didn't come.
We were forced to book ourselves into another hotel at our own cost.
Travango are refusing to reimburse us the cost.
They are even refusing to give us a refund against the room that we didn't have, even though the hotel itself has not been paid for the room.
Seriously, keep as far away as possible from these scum bags, otherwise you too could end up in the same predicament.
