After placing an order on May 11,2017, paid for the order, received confirmation containing a shipping date of within 7 days, to date I have not received the product. Emails and messages asking for status were not responded to. Posts on her Facebook pages were deleted. Finally after filing a dispute on the charge with my bank, a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and posting the business pages on my Facebook page with a shop at risk warning and stating my intent to file a complaint with the FTC, I received notice on June 25,2017 that a refund was issued. We'll see if that is true, it has not shown up on my account yet.
She apparently accepted payments on orders in May but did not place an order with her supplier until late June. She is now posting excuses insinuating it is the suppliers fault. Its not true.
There are other suppliers of Wolltraum yarn that ship to the U.S. who are reputable and deliver as promised. I intend to place an order with one of them when my payment is finally refunded.
Stay away from Wolltraum USA and its owner, Heather Mellon. I don't know if she's incredibly inefficient or intentionally delaying orders for which she has been paid, but this experience has been frustrating and time consuming.
Edit added: On 6/27 the refund cleared my bank. It is my understanding she has expressed the intention of improving her service, not to me but to others. I hope so, but I will never take the chance of ordering from her again.
