The rumors appear to be correct. Upsie is no longer. However, another company is taking over their coverage and you will need to contact them for warranty claims. I recommend documenting your active policies in case the upsie site goes down.

As of January 20,2024, any active Upsie subscription protection plans are being managed by AKKO LLC and backed by AKKO's AM Best A-Rated Insurance partners. All your coverage is still in effect if your plan is active, and no terms of protection have changed!
Non-Subscription protection plans purchased prior to January 20,2024 are still in effect through Upsie's prior insurance partners.

If You Need to File a Claim:

If you DO NOT have a subscription currently with Upsie, but made a one-time sale for a protection plan prior to January 20,2024, refer to your email for documents and information sent to you for how to file a claim with either Centricity or Fortegra, dependent on who your protection plan was provided through at the time.
