The worker collecting the carriages in the parking lot decided to LIFT the carriage to get it out since it wouldn't fit between the two cars! In doing so, this guy literally damaged the entire driver's side of my car with multiple serious dents and scratches! I had to get the manager. The manager was kind enough to come outside and take pictures. He also took all my information down. Unfortunately, trying to get someone from corporate to return a phone call is like pulling teeth! I have called three times and have left three messages. Nothing. I even called the main number for the insurance company and three times I was disconnected. This is insane.

This is a brand new car that now has a lot of damage. I just want my car fixed and yet I can't even get a return phone call.

As I was leaving the parking lot that same day, the worker came running over to me to explain what happened. He said the "carriage wouldn't fit through" so I tried to lift it! Gee, why not just leave it there and wait to move it until it could fit? I told the guy I know what happened but do you see the damage you did? Do you realize the extent of the damage? He said, "Yeah, if I get fired I get fired!" Great...that doesn't help get my car fixed.

I have to go back again! This is ridiculous.

Sunday--July 2,2023--Horrible waitress and a horrible experience. I just left and I paid for NOTHING. Don't waste your time. I've been the Chuck E. Cheese with my boys when they were smaller and the screaming didn't compare to what we were subjected to today. Unreal.

Let me preface this by saying it's not the kids' fault. They are little and don't know any better. They are only doing what little kids do...play and scream. I blame the parents for not teaching them to not play and scream in a restaurant.

From outside we hear kids screaming. We walk in and there are two small kids running through the restaurant screaming like they're at a playground running around the restaurant through the bar. The place was empty so I guess they thought it was okay! It's not okay. You get the idea.

These screaming kids finally end up on the bar side. The man they were with (I'm assuming their dad) was sitting at the bar. With this screaming continuing, the waitress comes over and closes the door to the bar. We can still hear them but at least not as loud. Honestly, I wanted to leave. I'm not up for someone else's kids screaming and running around while I'm trying to eat.

Our food arrives. We are eating maybe five minutes. Those two kids break out from the bar area and again are running through the restaurant screaming their heads off! Now they're at the door right opposite our table. Are you kidding me with this? My mother raises her voices (honestly because they were screaming so loud you have to raise your voice!) and says "Hey, hey...you don't do this here!" The bar door opens. I can hear the dad saying something to correct them. Two seconds later the waitress with the blue hair (I didn't see a name tag and I didn't get her name) comes over, puts her hand out and says to my mother "don't yell at someone else's children!" Excuse me but you don't speak to an elderly person the way this waitress did. That is not acceptable and it was just downright rude and disrespectful. I was expecting an "oh sorry for that" or "I'm sorry the kids are loud we'll try to keep them on the other side" something to that effect.

But no. The waitress with the blue hair decides to correct my mother! She yells at my 93 year old mother "do not yell at someone else's kids!" Really? I jumped in. You are not going to talk to my mother like that. I said, "Excuse me! We are paying customers trying to enjoy a meal in your restaurant. I am not here paying for a meal to listen to someone else's kids running around screaming like lunatics. This is not a place for that." The look on her face was one of shock! Her eyes just about popped out of her head. I guess she didn't expect me to say anything. She said again "but you don't have the right to yell at someone else's kids like that!" I said again, "I absolutely have the right to say something when I am in a restaurant trying to eat a meal and have conversation and I cannot because someone else's kids are screaming while I'm trying to eat. I am paying for meal!" She looked at me like this is something so foreign to her! Where is your customer service? I said "You know what? Get the manager. I'm not paying for this meal. I'm not paying to listen to this." She was like okay...okay. She came back with to-go containers. I said, "No I don't want your food. I'm not paying for this food. I'll pay for the salad my son ate." Then we just left and didn't pay for anything.

At minimum I expected the waitress to apologize for the noise and the screaming. I did not expect her to talk to my mother like that! Not happening. I was going to spend about $90 maybe $100 between the meals and dessert, but that did not happen.

Needless to say we will never be going back to Gordy's again.

Tip for consumers:
I did write to the owner using a few email addresses, I contacted Gordy's through the website and through its Facebook page and I have not even received an apology! The audacity of that woman with the blue hair to yell at a 93 year old woman! Mother mother has seeing issues, hearing issues, and was walking with cane. Instead of apologizing for the horrendous noise and the screaming kids, she instead chose to yell at a 93 year old woman. Absolutely disgusting.

Products used:
Nothing! We ordered about $75 worth of food but we left! We ate half the food and left the restaurant we were so aggravated. We were going order desserts and coffees but that did not happen.

I've been to many stores over the years getting clothes for my boys. I have to say I was so impressed with this store. I've been to other stores and did nothing but wait around for 20 minutes only to leave. At this store, I was told someone would be with me shortly. Within a few minutes a woman, Taj, helped us. We told her what we were looking, she took my son to the other side of the store and sized him up just by looking at him! I was impressed. I took my other son there the next day to get a suit as well. They did the alterations, ordered what we needed, and we were all very happy. My sons can't wait to go back to get another suit.

Products used:
Two suits for my boys, new dress shirts, four ties, and belts.

At least you had all the books we needed! My college had NOTHING! It's been a nightmare searching for my books. Unreal.

Reason I chose this business:

We chose ECampus.com because school just started today. We wen to the college bookstore and yet it had NOTHING! They told us to go home and order it online. We did that and guess what? The site tells us NOT IN STOCK! How in the world to they charge you $25K for tuition, tell you that you have to buy about $1000 worth of books yet they have NOTHING IN STOCK?

I had to return curtains. Four very lightweight packages. After finally getting my label to print, I was told I was going to be charged $13+ for a return label. If I had known I was going to be charged before I placed the order, I would not have ordered from them. I ordered Ivory colored, but when they arrived they looked a bit yellow. Yet I got stuck paying to return them. I will not buy from Overstock again.
