Don't get the 7/11 app on your phone. The company's security on your data is completely lacking and when you finally get to speak with someone. They cannot speak english or cannot they help you. My credit card got hacked on the APP and 7/11 will not accept any responsibility for it. The Waco TX stations have been hit a lot lately so we thought a local small town of West,TX would be safe. No it isn't, 5 days after stopping for some diesel. My card got charged at a station in north Dallas over 100 miles away. Then they wanted to argue that the card was shown. The card was in my pocket. After two weeks of calling and calling I posted it on their facebook page. Then I finally was told nothing we can do about it maybe your credit card company can help you. Then today five days after I get an email saying they could do anything. I get another email saying if you don't answer this we will close the case. I wrote them back and told them they really needed to talk among themselves. (My personal opinion "It's an inside job"
Hi Harry, thank you for taking the time to write this review. I'd like to address some of your “claims” made in your review. First and foremost, we use SQUARE as our payment processor. SQUARE is a well-known third-party payment processor that collaborates with numerous reputable companies, including weekly, Verse Technologies, eloquent labs, META (Facebook), and many more.
Upon reviewing your order and claim, it appears that we made two attempts to process your payment. Unfortunately, it was declined due to "insufficient funds" (as indicated by the error code provided by SQUARE reader) in the first instance. When we tried again, the transaction prompted us to inform you to contact your bank, resulting in the cancellation of your order. It's important to note that our credit card authorization forms are PCI compliant and are only valid for a one-time use for a specific order.
To address your concerns regarding the security of your information, I want to assure you that we do not sell any customer data to third parties. We have been operating since 2019 and are committed to upholding our privacy policy, which you can read in detail at https://shopiosx.com/privacy-policy. When you contacted our IT team, we notified you that there was no error involved; your card was declined solely due to insufficient funds and a fraud notice. Our website is SSL secure, and all information is encrypted to ensure the utmost security. Additionally, we have implemented rigorous measures to safeguard against hacking or technical outages.
For further information on our payment and shipping guidelines, I encourage you to visit our website and help center. We strive to provide a transparent and secure shopping experience for all our customers. If you have any more questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.
