I am a nurse practitioner in Cardiology and loved the positive revies, organic food and the STATED locally sourced and highest quality meats and fish. I am doing research for a scholarly paper on top rated meal delivery services. This company's meal delivery service failed terribly in almost every way.
The first box that arrived (on day of arrival) was not even cool and had to throw away all of the meals. The 2nd obx arrived fairly cold. I tried 3 of the meals and there were many disappointments: a "chicken breast" was not a chicken breast but greasy and tough dark meat chicken with a horrible sauce. The rest of the meals were similiar: very poor quality meat/fish, extremely limp and soggy vegetables and sauces that were not at all palatible (tasted awful). One on the main things I disliked was the packaging as I had to wrestle to get the plastic off the meal and was messy.
I called customer service with the above concerns requestig some sort of compensation. Now the true test of this company: I was on hold for over 14 minutes and when I explained above with a agent, the MOST they would offer was a refund of $15.00 when I paid $160.00 for the 2 weeks.
Very very disappointed with this company and meal delivery service.
