I was skeptical at the beginning and wondered whether it'd actually work. It works very well and I was able to use other SIM cards in my UK phone while travelling in Africa, BUT mind you there is an extra charge HIDDEN COSTS on top of the one they initially advertise. First they charge you to check whether it can be done on your phone, then they charge you to complete the entire job.

This two-step process ensures that we can unlock your phone before you commit to the full service cost.
Whilst I understand it may have come as a surprise, this approach is designed with customer satisfaction in mind—to avoid charging the full price if an unlock isn't possible.
