Bought a complete system and they shipped it with the shipping company they use and chose. When units arrived I cut away plastic but the thick cardboard protectors on the corners was hiding major corner crease and a missing filter cover, I did see some ripples in the cabinet but didn't realize it had been mishandled somewhere along its trip. I contacted Budget, Lavina, and gave her all the details only to be told she was sorry and it is basically not their problem, its between me and the shipping company. Keep in mind they hired the shipping company, I didn't choose them but now its my problem, we all know the shipping company is going to tell me to go jump in the lake or too bad... but please don't make the mistake I've made to trust this is a company that does the right thing because they will not. I ask to speak with the general manager and he pretty much told me good luck and its not their problem, he then tried to get me to cancel my PayPal case and he would send me some missing screws and i shouldn't worry about the damage because it was cosmetic. If someone backs into your car fender and cruses it it, its cosmetic but that don't mean they shouldn't be responsible for having it repaired. Be warned, they have no integrity and no ethics, so if you are one of the lucky ones that their 3 rate shippers don't crush you equipment you should thank your lucky stars.

We are sincerely sorry to hear that your unit was damaged in transit and feel that we have corrected the issues with you since this review was posted. All orders are independently inspected by 3 different personnel including a member of management prior to being packaged for shipment. The shipping company that shipped your order is a 3rd party and not affiliated with Budget Heating, and you have full rights to make a claim directly with the trucking company. However since the damage was not notated at time of delivery we are unable to file a claim for you.
However we did ultimately did provide you with all the information you would need to file a claim direct with the carrier including a pre-filled claim form to do so. Ultimately we have refunded you money for customer satisfaction and reimbursed you for the missing pieces that you purchased elsewhere.
We are sorry again that you experienced damage, however we are confident we have done everything within our power to make it right.
