I ordered a dress from this company back in October for a formal event that I had. I was so excited to receive my dress! When I received it, I noticed that the packaging was a little small, and I thought this could not possibly be the dress that I ordered online. When I opened it, it was not only the wrong dress, but it was like an extra extra small so, even if I liked it, I could not possibly wear it on top of it not being in the same price point that I ordered my original dress. I immediately sent the company an email letting them know that they had messed up my order. I sent a picture along with the email showing them that they messed up the order. Do you know that they responded Could I send clear pictures? When clearly my order showed those dresses look nothing alike, which you could clearly tell from that picture. After the return process was completed I told them that I wanted a refund I did not want a store credit as I did not want to order anything else from the store. Had this been an issue where I just didn't want dress that I ordered, I would understand. But this was a complete miss-step by the company. It has been over two months since I've returned this item and every time I emailed them about my refund they are talking in circles and doing everything possible not to give me my money back. It is too late for me to go through my bank as it's past the dispute window. I just want my money back. It amazes me how these companies operate, have no accountability, and literally care nothing about their customers. The right thing would have been to immediately refund my money, especially given that it was their mess up.

We received your return package and the order was examined and shown to me directly confirming the package only had one of the two identical items included. We did not receive the second outfit, and I was personally there to witness the inspection and processing of this package. The processing agent opened and shook all the items to ensure they were not found inside a different item, which is why the return was rejected for the one item. Records indicate the remainder of the items were refunded on August 15 back to your Afterpay account. If you discover that you have located the outfit that was rejected due to item not received, we can assist you with returning it by sending you a new return label. The package showed no signs of damage or opened / closed prior to inspection, and this is why this item was not refunded. We simply did not receive it back. Please email cs@miabellebaby.com if you have located the item and would like us to send you a new return shipping label. We do not refund or issue store credit for items that are submitted for return - but not returned.
If the item was sent separately, please let us know the tracking number for the secondary package and we will work to investigate the issue further.
This is not the experience we wish for anyone, however we received the package that did not include all of the items requested for return. One of the two identical outfits was received, and refunded, along with the other items in the package.
Seeing as this is your first order with us, and the item was not received in our returns department, we are unable to issue the refund for the missing item on this order.
