Very disappointed. Purchased a very expensive coat that referenced via actual photos a very different coat from the same brand... I was told by Poshmark that, "I should have asked the seller more questions". I'm the buyer. What about seller mis-representation? Feel sick to my stomach about this. Not at all like ebay- who jumps to make sure all sales are kosher. After reading some to the reviews here, seems I'm not alone. Horrific experience.
My second scenario- my offer for a great pair of shoes was accepted. Only to get an email, 2 days later, telling me that the sale was canceled. The seller told me that she received a higher offer from someone else on the platform, and was going to accept that instead! Seemed terribly unethical and poor business to me- and I couldn't believe that Poshmark allowed this to happen. The seller told me to get over myself, but I was very disappointed in all involved here- and stunned actually that this was allowed to happen.
