Beware of this company's deceptive practices. I paid $0.95 for one of their useless reports, and they billed my debit card $39.95 a month until I caught the charge and cancelled the "subscription". Before you give your debit card or banking information, make sure you are purchasing one item, and NOT subscribing to some dubious "service". The report may have been worth at most $0.95, but I will never use Wyty again.

I contracted with Earnest Johnson d/b/a 4 Corners Concrete to demolish and remove a 14'x15' concrete slab and pour a new one in my backyard. I gave Johnson a check for $3075 to begin the work on 6/12/23. On 6/13/23, Johnson texted me and said that he deposited the check in his bank but that they put a hold on it, and if I wanted to avoid delay in starting my job, I would have to stop payment on the check and give him cash or cashier's check. I foolishly agreed and gave him a cashier's check on 6/13/23 for $3075 with the understanding that if the bank paid the original check, he would return the $3075 overpayment immediately. The bank paid the original check. I have asked Johnson to return the money and he has failed and refused to do so. I must now follow up with the police and a private attorney to sue to get my money back.

I sent a box of Christmas presents from my home in Florida to my daughter in Ireland. The shipper used DHL for clearance and delivery in Ireland. I carefully wrapped the presents and packed the box, unaware that each item would be unwrapped at customs. Since I had room in the box, I sent stocking stuffers, some mail, and other little items of no real value. I was also unaware that each item would be itemized on the customs form, so each present was unwrapped, each item listed, and I paid 5 euros for each item after the first 5 items. Seventy euros - on top of the delivery fee, customs and taxes - just to itemize mail and chapsticks! When the box arrived at my daughter's home, it was unsealed and the items carelessly thrown in. It ruined my Christmas! DO NOT USE DHL!
