I was a customer of AT&T for almost 20 years. Thought I would give Mint mobile a try. BIG MISTAKE! I have had their service for 2 years and while the price is good, the hoops that you have to jump through are not worth it. You can wait 45 minutes at times to get to speak to a customer rep. When you do get a CR most of the time English is not their first language so you can't understand what they are saying. They talk really fast and then act annoyed if you ask them to repeat themselves. The service isn't that great, I have alot of dropped calls and places where there isn't even service although I was assured that my area was great for mint. I now think of Mint as a scam. They gave me wallet money to use because of problems with past service. I went to use the $15 in the wallet and couldn't do it. I called CS and asked for help, was assured she could help me. Asked her to take $15 from the wallet apply to my bill which was due in 3 days. Asked to please let me know before charging my credit card. Assured me she would. 2 minutes later she says "Oh no! Your credit card has been charged and I w asn't able to take off the $15. Sorry I can't do anything!" SERIOUSLY? I asked to reimburse my credit card. She said if she did that then my account would possibly be suspended for non payment. WHAT? I asked for help, she screwed things up and now I am in trouble? I asked for her supervisor. She kept ignoring me saying she could "fix" things. After about 10 minutes of constantly asking for her supervisor, she finally put me through. He was no better than her, couldn't help me, warned me not to stop payment or my account would be in jeopardy. I asked for his supervisor. After much waiting, I got the "floor supervisor". She went through the same song and dance as the other 2, then offered to give me $10 in my wallet, which could be applied the next time the bill was due (3 months from now). Said she couldn't do anything else, it was "too late". Why give me $10 when they aren't going to apply that to the account and will just screw it up the next billing again? I'm done! Its a scam...they pretend to give you $$ but you can NEVER use it because no one seems to know how to get the money out of the wallet and apply it to your account. They all say "sorry" but never help you. HOURS AND HOURS of frustration! RIP OFF BIG TIME.
