On April 6, I ordered "The African Origins of Civilization" by Cheikh Anta Diop from the African Bookstore, an online bookstore doing business from Florida. Long story short, I never got the book or a refund, despite emails stating that the refund "was accepted by the system." The African Bookstore also has two different addresses listed, but both are suspiciously located in Broward Blvd! The address on my receipt is: 3600 W Broward Blvd, Ft. Lauderdale, FL *******. Website address is listed: 7027 W. Broward Blvd, Plantation. FL *******. They seem to like "Broward Blvd" because they were able to find one in Plantation as well as in Ft. Lauderdale Florida! What a coincidence! They also now say they are "under new management!" Probably just hiding from their customers!
