A week before arriving at Las Vegas I reserved a rental car from Easirent through Expedia. As I arrived at the airport around midnight when the Easirent office was closed, I got a taxi to the hotel and the next morning again got a taxi to their office. That was the first inconvenience that I had to swallow to get a relatively cheap rental.
I was at the Easirent location (old dirty trailer in the middle of nowhere, 6 miles south of the Strip) at 8:30 am, so luckily I was the first in line. The process for getting the car was long and tedious. They were asking for many things and then they shocked me with the fact that I had to pay almost double to drive the car out of Nevada. As Las Vegas is in the corner of Nevada, it means that almost any out-of-city drive would be out-of-state. My original cost was $453 and I had to pay additional $277 for out-of-state driving! Their web-site (not Expedia!) has a mention typed with small font of some fee for out-of-state driving, but it doesn't say how high it is!
The car I got was in relatively good shape, not bad inside, but really dirty from outside. Also, it didn't have any washer fluid in it. When I asked the guy at the garage to fill the washer tank he only put less than a quart in it. He said: "If I pour a full gallon for you, I won't have for the other cars!".
The returning at 9:30 pm wasn't that bad, but again too far from the airport.
A week after I returned the car, there was one more big surprise: all the tolls that I had to pay had an additional FINE FEE of of 3 x $25 plus tax. I ended up paying $85 on top of my $30 tolls! Absolute rip-off!
I'll definitely never rent a car again from Easirent and I will inform Expedia that with their business deal, they are supporting a disgraceful company that is indirectly ruining their reptation.
Please, stay away Easirent - Las Vegas. It's very inconvenient and you'll end up paying more at the end. I was lucky that I got a decent vehicle, probably because if I was there really early in the morning, but almost all the rest was a bad experience.
