Ordered my new bed on Monday, didn't receive a confirmation email so rang them after a few hours. I was told that the bed would be delivered Friday (today) and I would have to pay £39 cash to the delivery driver. Their website says "fast free delivery". I argued this and was told that my postcode (in the midlands) was not covered and that this was explained in their terms and conditions. I checked the terms and conditions and my postcode wasn't mentioned so I called them back, threatening to call trading standards and they waived the charge.
Anyway, on to delivery day. The driver turned up at a decent time and brought everything into the house for me. I soon noticed that the memory foam mattress was clearly labeled as 4'6" double, not the 5' king that I ordered. I told the driver, he said there was nothing he could do.
I promptly rang beds.co.uk and after a lengthy discussion, I was told that the best they could do was refund me £15 as a gesture of goodwill and deliver my new mattress next Saturday. That's 8 days with no mattress.
I will never use this company again and I would discourage anyone else from using them too.
