I've been using Thrive for a couple of years and it has seriously declined. The deals are great but only when I actually get what I ordered. Sometimes thrive will have a generous discount on a large selection of items as they did a month ago. I took quite a bit of time pouring through the sale items to decide what to stock up on, I probably spent an hour doing this through a somewhat cumbersome process.
The order was delayed. Delayed again. A week later I called them and had them cancel the order. I managed to also find out that the delivery service they use had lost the item, something thrive didn't seem to know. Now, it's a week later and I don't have any of the items. I can order them again but without the 30% sale discount.
A few weeks later there was another, albeit more limited sale. I placed another order on Monday, expecting it would be shipped by Tuesday. On Friday it still has not shipped but they tell me it should ship tomorrow -- of course with tomorrow being a Saturday that likely means Monday. As they use a bottom of the barrel shipper -- ontrack, that order, whenever it finally ships, may get delayed or lost again.
At this point an entire month has gone by and I have not been able to receive anything I ordered. This is not the first time this has happened. I estimate that roughly half of my orders over the past year have been lost or delayed.
If you have lots of patience and only want to order things you don't need anytime soon, this could be a good option for you -- and let's not forget that you get to pay an annual fee to have the privilege of this horrific service.
To be fair, when items are damaged they are good about crediting for them, but shipping/packing is random and chaotic so things are often over packed or liquid items are put in bags which then aren't sealed properly so what's the point?
I wish I could have some of my wasted time and aggravation refunded to me -- I hope you are more fortunate than I am!
