This has been a long drawn our process of trying to recover monies from flights booked pre Covid for a trip to Portugal. Recently I took over the responsibility of chasing the outstanding monies as the lead booking has fallen ill. I contacted a senior director on a couple of occasions for which he responded to the 2nd mail as he had just returned from the Masters. He forwarded the email address for accounts and explained they would handle this and he would let them know I would be in contact. Contact was duly made and confirmation of receipt of the email was requested. No communication has followed despite sending further emails and also a final one to the same senior director. Over 2 years has elapsed and no word of reimbursement has taken place. The latest feedback was that we chose not to go away when there were no restrictions in place to Portugal. The holiday was due to take place in June 2020. Travel to Portugal had ceased from 17th March until 24th August for non essential travel. We will now be using a solicitor and their debt recovery team and to inform prospective clients of our bad experience. It appears that we are not the only ones to have issues with this company. When you mention individual names the senior director choses to make threats of suing people for defamation of character which when you report factual information isn't defamation.
