If anyone shops at the American Eagle Outfitters in the St Clair Mall--- Here is my recent experience. Two weeks ago I received my Aerie package in the mail with my sweat pants and panties that I had ordered online. I needed to exchange my panties for a larger size, no big deal. So the customer service recommended that I go to the American Eagle store for a faster transaction. I bring my invoice with my panties to the American Eagle and asked to exchange. The gentleman helping me took 30 minutes and was struggling bad. His manager would not help him nor me. (Horrible customer service) Finally, after 30 min, the man let me know that the transaction is done. Two weeks later today, I decide to call customer service, because I had this gut feeling the order never went through but yet I had paid. After being on the phone for 45 minutes today, they finally let me know that the man who did the transaction, never completed it. I was never going to receive my panties in the mail. And he continuously apologized that this had happened to me. The management and staff at the American Eagle in the St. Clair Mall needs to be more aware of their customers and develop better customer service skills, because they clearly do not what that is. I will never shop there ever again and I will make sure my voice is heard about this experience. I ended up getting my whole refund back today because now they don't have my size in the colors I want! End of rant, just wanted to share this horrible experience.
