Anytime fitness - Mt Dora, Florida.

After initially posting this review I heard from the owner "Patrick" almost immediately (for the first time in months). He promised to investigate and work it out and get back in touch. He asked me to remove my review while he did. I removed it in good faith but a month later and after 3 more attempts to follow up he has simply proven my point. They obviously do not care and in fact will say or do whatever they need to for a buck.___________________

I live in NH and was in Florida caring for my mother who was dying of pancreatic cancer. I signed up for a 6-month membership with Anytime Fitness based on the premise that there was a location near my home in NH.

After my Mom passed three months later I discovered that the gym listed near my home was not Anytime Fitness and would not honor the membership (they switched to become Milestone fitness). There are no Anytime Fitness gyms within 20 miles of me.

Ok, seems simple enough right - misunderstanding, call and work it out? Well, that has been impossible - they don't return phone calls or emails. They don't even answer BBB cases (they have a resounding "F" by the way and apparently don't care). On top of it all they referred my case to collections and so I have paid them anyway ($200 they didn't earn) and will have to sue them for breach of contact if I want to correct this (and although it's a pain… I just may as I can apparently include enough 'damages' to having my credit impacted to make it worth seriously considering)

Businesses and people that behavior this way are a problem for two reasons 1) they aren't trying to deliver value for the money they collect - they don't care about anything but getting your coin 2) they are bad people, that don't deserve your money. You have options - go elsewhere (there's a gym – a good one - a couple miles right up the road).

Never ever make the mistake of buying a Samsung phone from Samsung. If there is any problem at all they will force you to go 5-7 days without a phone. They will not under any circumstance send you a loaner or replacement up front.

The service people and managers are absolutely soul crushing in there apathy and ambivalence (Ben the 'manager' suggested everyone should keep a spare phone handy. He does!). They managed to turn a brand loyalist into a 'never again'.

I managed to order a brand new Pixel 6 pro and trade in this ZFold (worth ~$400 on trade in) faster than they could open a warranty tickets.

Save yourself the trouble and deal with a company that is customer minded (even if you HAVE to have a samsung phone - don't buy it from them)

Have placed several orders - each with 10 or more candles in them. They have been shipped quickly and packaged well. If you catch them during one opf the frequent sales, the prices are better than anyplace else online and the shipping is free.

I especailly love the Manly Indulgence and the Oak Room collections, but have tried and enjoyed many others. This is my go to place for candles. Give them a try.

This company does not care about delivering REAL VALUE to customers or delivering on promises they make. Instead they rely on tricks and dishonesty to scam people and steal money, make false promises and deliver no value beyond free or native OS tools that already exist.

For example they will claim to sell you 'unlimited subscription' they will NOT tell you anyway except in small print buried in the terms of service (WHICH THEY CHANGED) that this in only good for one computer.

There are many such example with them. Its all marketing and scams. There is NOTHING OF VALUE here Just a lot of frustration and disappointment. Use any other tool.

Awful, terrible, customer service (Mehgan my latest could not have cared less). I have tried to cancel this account. I have sent cease and desist letters and revoke billing authorization. I have tried to communicate with them. The only thing this company cares about is making another $10 for another month and screwing people over. They make it easy to sign up an very hard to leave... its a clear indication that they actual have NO VALUE and they know it so they are all about scamming a little more money to survive. THERE ARE SO MANY ALTERNATIVES -- FIND ANY OTHER SERVICE.
