How a company who's whole business is based around communication can be such a failure at it is beyond me. I don't have a problem with the service. But if I have an issue and have to go to the website or use the app, it's the most annoying experience I can imagine.I have tried repeatedly to sign up for the ACP program. First under the instructions it says to go to "my account" and fll out the app. Where? There is no app, finally had to call and frankly while the customer service agents seem polite it is incredibly hard to even understand them. Sorry but when someone has such a thick accent it makes it even harder to navigate their crap website. Finally got the info by going to chat. Which would be a lot easier if there were a way to simply go to chat. But like everything else on their garbage website that's not clearly pointed out. They should have a way to simply start a chat with customer service. The agents in chat are very helpful, but dealing with this pos website is just so frustrating I tend to get short with them, even though it's not their fault.anyway finally found the application which works about as well as everything else on the website. Kinda hard to fill in information when nothing works. Finally get it filled out and that's when it just kicks me off, so have to start over. Screw this garbage. I'm looking for another provider. Someone who actually puts some thought into helping customers.bye bye Metro.

Tip for consumers:
Put some money into your website metro, judging by how crappy it is, I'm assuming it was designed by a second grade droput

This is supposed to make things easier? HOW!?
Get an alert that I have mail go to the site, messages just says to check forms and letters.go to that section and it's just a mess. Lots of pdfs to download, what? They couldn't have just told me what they actually wanted.its just all garbage. About what you cam expect from a government website.

Tip for consumers:
They make a big deal about their app which is equally useless! They need to realize, this is a site to get government benefits, meaning a lot of people who use it have limited resources. I don't have home internet, computer, printer, just a phone with internet access

I was approved for SSI and later for SSDI. Once my disability was approved my SSI was suspended. No big deal as I expected that. And my Disability benefit would be enough for me to live on. However I was expecting to receive my first Disability check deposited last week on the 2nd. It wasn't so I started researching. I found that I was marked to receive a paper check. Ridiculous. Any federal benefit I have ever received has been direct deposit. OK thought I would just switch it back in my account. However they provide no means to do this. You can change your bank info but not actually set it for direct deposit. I found another site that was supposed to enable this to be done but again it only works if I have already started receiving benefits, which I have not yet received anything.
I do not blame the employees, but rather the idiots who programmed their stupid useless website. I literally am unable to physically work
And have many bills now coming due. A lot of us depend on these benefits. It is a government website so I guess you can't expect common sense to be involved
