Hello,

When charging the light will turn green to indicate a full charge.

At a general level, there is ample data to show that UV-C wavelengths like those used in Bril, are effective for sterilization. Here's some evidence: https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/coronavirus-covid-19-and-medical-devices/uv-lights-and-lamps-ultraviolet-c-radiation-disinfection-and-coronavirus

For our product specifically, we have independent lab test results showing Bril's efficacy against various bacteria like Staph, Strep, and E. Coli. Every single test showed at least 99.9% of the bacteria were neutralized.

As you read about UV-C light, you may be concerned about the effects it can have on your skin and eyes. Part of what makes Bril a higher quality product, and contributes to the cost of production, is the fact that we specifically sourced medical grade glass, that doesn't allow the harmful UV-C waves through, for the viewing window.

In short, if you can see the blue light on in your Bril, you can be sure that you are safe and the germs on your brush are not.
