I rarely leave reviews unless compelled but this company is so terrible to deal with that I thought I might help others avoid them. Quality control is absolutely terrible, product is overpriced for what you get, lead times and shipping time is unreasonably high, and your replacement for their mistake will also likely contain a mistake. Dreadful all around.

It has now been 4 months since I've placed my order for doors...of course they took my money on Day 1.
I am unable to reach Customer Service either by phone or email. They have lied about estimated shipping dates for the last 3 months! Do NOT use this company! I think they are unreliable and perhaps in financial trouble.who knows if we ever receive our doors!

The customer service from this company is practically non existent. They don't answer the contact messages or the phone and if you do manage to get a replay it will only be a lie telling you some time frame that they can't meet. I have been waiting for a sample door to be made for about 2 months now and can't get any update on it. Even if it does show up some day I would never trust them with a large order. I can't even rate the quality of the doors if I don't get one. Also, why do they run 30% off sales when they can't even produce the orders they have. Something is not right here. This has truly been a horrible experience. Go elsewhere.

I have spent months trying to recoup my money from this company. I canceled my initial order within 24 hours for very good reason and despite their lag time being 30 days (it turned out to be much longer), they were unable to cancel because "production had begun." Yeah, right. With the lag times it was likely they hadn't even printed the order yet. They now have possession of doors I do not need/cannot even use, my money, and even attempted an unsolicited delivery despite knowing I was seeking reimbursement. I was even willing to compromise and accept a reduced refund initially. Avoid this company and do not believe their fake positive reviews.

Decent product but if you have any deadlines or expectations of finishing a project inside 3 months then don't waste your time and money. There are plenty of other options for doors and I'm sure others are willing to admit their mistakes and provide some type of acceptable customer service.
I placed an order for doors the first week of January and was told it would take 15-20 business days to complete my order. 35 days later I was told it would be another 10 days and they would rush shipping. 12 days later after not hearing anything I contacted again and was told 15 more days at which point I tried to cancel the order that had not even been started after 2 months and was told there are no refunds or cancelations. I spent my weekend building the doors I need myself to try and keep my customer happy and maybe someday in the next month or so I'll finally receive the product that is absolutely useless to me now. I'll certainly never use Cabinet Door World again and have already advised several others to look elsewhere.

I have ordered cabinet doors from multiple companies in the past and all I can say is that this company is a complete failure. Quite possibly a fraud. I was told 4 weeks for doors, canceled my order at week 9 after several outright lies from them and now I am told that they will not cancel or refund. I dont even feel right giving them one star.

It took approx. 40 days to receive Maple Shaker drawer fronts. Unfortunately, they sent maple shaker door fronts. Their response was the wood shaker style is the same on both sides. No distinction in door vs drawer, yet the website specifies door vs drawer. One would think there is a difference. Now I'm left with the task of mounting a drawer to a non-flat door front. Response from CDW was they only have flat backs on MDF products. Makes no sense! Every cabinet drawer in my existing house, builder supply houses have a flat back for the drawer. I firmly believe they messed up and didn't want to correct the order. Bad customer service. The only fix is to glue a 1/4' filler and hope it holds up. Would definitely recommend another supplier for wood drawer fronts.

BEWARE: worst company I have ever worked with. Unbelievable wrong experience, the most rude people on the phone or chat (See attached).

Liars, everything they told me was a lie, items took three months to deliver, some items are wrong, promised me a refund several times and then changed their mind, lied about lead times, lied about shipping dates, lied about the refund, and then after keeping me in the dark for weeks and weeks they have the nerve to ask me to remove the bad reviews and they will issue the refund. LIES!

I have lost money and time with this company, but if I can help anyone else steer away from them and not have to experience what I have, I will post reviews with my experience everywhere I can. Also, check BBB rating and Yelp

We've had the absolute worst experience dealing with this business, if it's even a business. They are unprofessional, can't possibly be cabinet makers (a toddler could have constructed what they sent us) nothing lined up, warped wood, too flimsy to support an exhaust fan. Held together in some places by pin nails and some areas barely held together by a glue that was everyone on the product except where it should have been. Awful! We will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and reporting them. We've been trying to contact them for months for a refund…spoke to a couple of people that said they'd get back with us…never did. When we sent a detailed email it took them 10 minutes to get back with us to say we weren't getting our money back. BEWARE doing business with them! They should be shut down immediately. BAD REVIEWS ARE EVERYWHERE. I wish we would have seen these before placing an order.

We ordered cabinets from this sham company in Oct 2022. For five months they made broken promises and all kinds of excuses about why we didn't have our product yet. We were given what appeared to be fake updates, i.e. "they're almost done", "they're being painted now", "they're in the packing phase", "they're in shipping and are going out on the next delivery", etc. This went on until March 2023 when we had to pull the plug and told them to give us a shipping number within 24 hours or we would have to cancel the order. We never heard from them and disputed the charge on our credit card. We never heard from them again. We went with another vendor who had beautiful cabinets made and installed for us within two months.

Fast forward to today when they tried to charge our card again under the company name "Shop Cabinet Doors". We have disputed the charge and had to cancel the card. This is hands down the absolute worst company we have ever dealt with. Shop elsewhere!

Been waiting since end of March for TWO doors. Was told regardless of COVID-19, business was still able to operate. First ship date was mid April, then pushed to May, again pushed to end of June. Every time I call to follow up, I receive conflicting information. I asked to speak to a manager and was told I would be put on "the manager's wait list". Apparently, I'm not the only dissatisfied customer. Oh and these TWO doors are for a client of ours so it's a ripple effect of dissatisfied customers.

First let me start by saying I've given Cabinet Door World much more than enough time to make things right... It has been several months since I originally ordered cabinet doors from them. After waiting nearly twice the amount of time I was told I'd have to wait for them (an extra 3 weeks to be exact), they arrived on September 20 and were incorrect and therefore useless to me. Their response was that they'd "rush" the correct doors out to me without even taking the time to ask me which doors in particular were needed or following up. As a result I saw no other option than to dispute the charge with my bank/ credit card company. When their company got word of the request for a charge back, one of their staff members contacted me via phone to inform me that if they were to issue a refund, they'd need me to ship the cabinet doors back. On October 15 I complied with that request given to me by their staff member and sent them out via UPS ($150 of my own money) which confirmed that they received them back. Fast forward to today when I have been informed that my dispute was closed because they (the merchant) "carried out a service" for me. My first question for them was why would I be told to go through the costly expense of sending these cabinet doors back if they weren't going to follow through with the refund requested? I clearly haven't been "provided with a service." My family just out the $1,900+ with absolutely nothing to show for it because Cabinet Door World didn't provide the correct product in a timely manner. It just doesn't seem right to me. I feel completely violated and robbed after all of this. I've never experienced such poor customer service in my life.

Unfortunately, I didn't see the reviews on Yelp before. It would have saved a lot of effort and saved a nearly year project on cabinet doors.

I had an extremely bad experience with bestcabinetdoors vendor in NC. It took them 14 weeks to make cabinet doors and in the end, they didn't do a stain match. They have refused to fix it. Their website is bestcabinetdoors.com and they are in Hickory, NC.

They may have the lowest fees but their quality and response are the worst. I'm trying to sue them in court but unfortunately, I live in California and there is no easy way to do it. Given I didn't respond in time so I couldn't use my credit card services to return the purchase.

Forgot to mention one more thing. The company engaged in a fraudulent charge on my credit card with an amount of $6300 and as Cabinet Door World (cabinetdoorworld.com). Luckily I was able to dispute it in time.

As advised please stay away from them.

They are very slow, so my experience was the same as the others in that regard. Fortunately, this was not a problem for me and did not impact the pace of my "do it yourself" project. I did call on a couple of occasions and got responses with excuses. On a final call I was told that X had called two weeks ago to tell me they were ready and left a message. If so, it must have been garbled, as we had no recollection of any message left. Even if true, why did they not call again when there was no response from us? Also, we live about 2.5 hours from their plant so we decided to pick up ourselves to avoid the risk of any shipping damage, there was no shipping charge.

So we made the trip to their plant and picked up our rather large door (27" x 72") and drawer front and drawer box. They were very well packaged, so we did not open and just loaded into our SUV for the trip home. We opened the packages at our home and everything was perfect. Excellent construction and materials. The paint job was perfect. No damage whatsoever. So very pleased. I was concerned the large door might have some bowing or warping but not a problem. The hinges were easy to adjust for a good overlay fit. It has been over a year and the door and drawer are performing just fine. I could not be more pleased.

So here was our main issue. We paid them to paint the door and drawer front professionally to match existing cabinets and trims that are a standard Sherwin Williams color. While the paint job was well done, once installed it was obvious that the colors were not a match - close but obviously not the same. I called on this issue and sent photos as evidence and got no help, just excuses that it was in fact the SW color we ordered and that my older materials in that color probably changed tone over time. All of this is fiction. The new door was against framing I had just installed and painted in my SW color. Over the 10 years since our home was built, I have done a lot of projects with SW trim and door paint in my color that was bought in different stores and even in different states. I have probably used 6 or more gallons of the stuff in the same color. There has never been a matching issue, the paint has always matched perfectly. You cannot tell old from new. They finally said I could return the doors and they would repaint, but this was not practical from a cost perspective and I did not want to make the drive to their plant again. Plus I was not interested in risking another long wait and a wrong color again.

So I paid for painting that I had to redo with no reasonable solution offered. My guess is that they used paint on hand or painted along with another order that was a color similar to my SW color. They probably figured "close enough" and that it would be OK. Obviously I do not know for sure, and I guess it is possible that SW botched the mixing (although that would seem the least likely scenario). I can say the guy who helped me on pick up was great, they seem to have a decent size facility but could not tell if they manufacture there, and I could see several designers at their desks. One appeared to be working on a rather large full kitchen design.

Why do they have issues with non-timely delivery? No way to know for sure. But as a business man, I speculate that they probably give priority to large orders and batch smaller similar orders for efficiency. So if your order is "small" they will get to it when they can batch it with another order(s). And if you have a timeline to meet, then they are not a good choice as the risk seems to be high that they will not meet your timing expectations. In my case, would give them a 5 on overall quality and would use them again if timing is not an issue (but would not have them paint). But their failure to meet their order timing commitments, poor communication, and getting my color wrong with no realistic offer to make it right causes me to downgrade my overall rating significantly. My sense is that you will get a great well built product, but you need to be aware of these other risks if your use them.

I ordered on Feb 23,2023. I have not received my order and have had no reply to inquiries about when I would receive my order or where it is in processing! I have called 3 times and sent 3 online inquiries! Now I can't even access the website so i don't know if they went out of business or what!

This is the second time I ordered through this company. The first time around it took 8 months to get my order which is the only reason I was this patient. Now I fear I'm screwed!

If i could have read their Yelp reviews, prior to ordering from such scammers. I place an order and during the check out process i am given the option to pay for faster fedex shipping, so i selected 2 days shipping... I paid for a two day shipping but when my package did not arrive 2 days after, i called these suckers and they said exactly below,

I asked him to cancel and he said they dont cancel orders.

Do not order from these scammers. Total scam. Search local carpenters online, i found one locallh (searched on google) and prepared my order in less than 2 days.

Do your research and look at the reviews posted on Google, Yelp, BBB and don't make the same mistake that I and countless others made by using this company. I ordered 2 cabinet doors on May 18th and almost 3 months later still have not received anything. This company never sends out any updates on your order, does not issue any refunds (without getting your bank involved), and does a run-around when you reach out to get the status of your order. I've reached out numerous times and have been told "It's with sanding" or "It's with finishing" with a generic "It'll be between X and X business days before completion".

When that time-frame of completion passes, it's groundhogs day all over again and you're back to being told "It's with sanding" or "It's with finishing" with a generic "It'll be between X and X business days before completion".

Do more research than I did and go with a more reputable company that will actually complete your order in a timely manner.

THe cabinets took forever from order to arrival but that was ok by me as I am a weekend warrior and timing wasn't critical. The product was overall decent with a couple of screw ups that I was able to fix. I ordered door fronts one had 2 inch trim and the other had 1". Technically it was because one measurement was 6 1/4 and the other 6 3/8. In the small print it delineates the cut off where they reduce the trim. When I inquired as to why NO ONE at least brought it to my attention, they basically said it was on me. IT WAS but what company looking at only 2 drawer fronts that look drastically different due to the trim size wouldn't catch it? I recently called and emailed about installation links that have been removed and NO ONE will give me an answer. I am now retired and flipping houses. I will look for a better company to provide my kitchen remodels.

I ordered one door as a sample, and was going to purchase 40 more if I was satisfied with the product. 7 weeks later, I still didn't receive the door and was told on 3 different occasions that it was being shipped out that week. When I call, I'm always told it's in production but the guys are out to lunch, so they can't check where in production. It's just a constant run around. I'm hoping to dispute the charge on my credit card, but it's been almost 2 months, so I'm not sure I'll be able to dispute it. Don't take the chance.
