“Norton used to be good but not anymore BEWARE!”

I renewed my subscription with them and now their VPN doesn't work after trying all support options. They've screwed my account up numerous times and now failed to refund my money. The worst support I've seen in any company and appear to be totally inept. I could go on but the Norton 360 Deluxe with Lifelock software has VPN problems (doesn't open or work) and probably can't do much with their recovery of hacked bank accounts and other unfounded claims they have. Very sad that they have no concerns after they take your money. BEWARE!

IF YOU HAPPEN TO GET LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET AN AGENT THAT ACTUALLY KNOWS HOW TO AND ACTUALLY DOES TRANSFER YOU TO THE UNITED STATES, IT'S JUST AN OPERATOR THAT PROMPTLY TRANSFERS YOU RIGHT BACK TO ANOTHER 3RD WORLD, OFF SHORE, MINIMUM WAGE CALL CENTER WHO WANTS ALL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION. THERE IS NO NUMBER TO CALL THE US CORPORATE OFFICE TO COMPLAIN. NORTON LIFELOCK CORPORATE POLICY "TOO BAD, SO SAD, WE ALREADY HAVE YOUR MONEY." HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE COMPANY

I purchased Registry Mechanic from PC Tools online in 2011 without any online mention of automatic renewals. Without using the product I was subsequently billed in 2012 with an automatic renewal. The re-billing was without my consent or notification, and PC Tool refused to refund the money because the claim period had expired. When I spoke with PC Tool they had no interest in satisfying me as a customer and were adamant, as if they knew that credit card companies will not file a clam after 120 days. PC tools has since changed the renewal notifications and web page.

I have purchased the spyware application, but when I have tried to upgrade with the antivirus, it hasn't worked. I should also be able to download free protection, and none of this has worked either. They say they will try and resolve issues within 24 hours, but it has been over a week, and so far, have not had one reply yet! Totally p*****ed off and down by £30 quid. Also, PC much slowler than before!

I purchased spydoctor from this site, and downloaded it. One year later I receive a renewal invitation. It instructed me to go to their website to "update" my preferences. I went there because I did not want to renew the software, so assumed it would be easy enough to do. Wrong! As I attempted to "log in", I was told a password would be sent to my email address. It never came. Instead, when I did not receive it, I went back to their website to find that my credit card (which they kept on file) was going to be charged TODAY for the renewal. I was told, "Don't worry, relax, your software is being automatically renewed." There were no phone numbers, no live chat without a license number, asked for that to be sent to me, they sent me the license number for the NEW software that I just paid for, it was a circle that led no where. These people have a closed system, and once they get your c. C. number, you are virtually helpless to make contact with them. I will have to contact my c. C. and go through the hassle of disputing the charge. What a racket!

Purchased a product in 2004 and have been automatically renewed at a former work e-mail address that I haven't had access to for several years. I checked my debit account and see were they automatically deducted a payment. I called and they said that they have been deducting every year for 5 years. I asked how they could do that and they said since I didn't uncheck a box they are able deduct. I asked for original agreement and they can't provide that. They are a German Company. They refunded only this payment and closed all my accounts. I haven't even been able to utilize the product since the former work e-mail I didn't have access to.
