Heads up on advertised interest rate of 39.7%, this is a lie, mine has been 54.9% for 2 years, never had a late payment and always paid more than the minimum payment, so try someone else if you can.
I am a model user of Very, never late with a payment, always pay more than the minimum payment, but for no reason at all at an awkward time for most, they have kindly put my interest rate up from 39.9% to 51.9%, no warning, they just did it.
When I wrote this report before they contacted me for my details, but never made contact, when I called their underwriters to ask why the sudden increase, they simply said 'because we can' I said fair enough, so now I pay it out and never use them again.
Tip for consumers:
They offer everyone 39.9 Apr, but they can put this up to any amount any time, ive used £1500 of my £2500 limit, they told me that if I don't like it, then pay it out.
If I could do that I wouldn't be using them in the first place.
Shocking use of low income earners.
