Told item was out of stock, due in stock 12 March. On 12 March told would be in stock 14 March. On 14 March told it would be another five weeks - 19 April - before stock would become available. Having had to put off plumber already, naturally I cancelled the order. What particularly incensed me is that they had charged my credit card as soon as the order was placed on 28 February - which is only one step away from fraudulent. As I am still awaiting a refund nearly a month after placing the order, I am now taking steps through the Small Claims Court to recover the amount. I am also making a formal complaint to Hull Trading Standards about Victoria Plumb's trading practices.
