I am a humanitarian activist interested in helping people who are beat up by the system -- as in police abuse and other. I have Limited time but my heart is in the right place.

I was parked well off the road. A driver who knew he was having "rolling blackouts" was driving at high speed on the wrong side of the road. He sliced off the whole side of my car. There was a witness. My insurer, State Farm, did not even try to get compensation for me from this criminal driver. Instead, they lied to me repeatedly and awarded me only $1700, which they claimed was the value of my car. Then, unknown to me, they declared my car "salvage." I was unable to repair or replace my car. DMV refuses to register it without elaborate repairs and inspections. Cops are threatening to tow me. Because of this I may go completely belly-up and have to live as a "Bag Lady." I am urging everyone: do not ever give insurance companies a nickel more than required. Over the years State Farm received roughly 20k on this policy. And now what I am doing is holding the sack!

I worked for Hertz Rental Car in Redwood City as a driver. There was a little clerical
Mishap concerning my paycheck. Hertz supervisors made good on it in an exceptionally
Kind and generous fashion. And the local office was very nice to work for. If these are
Examples of Hertz style, then I say "get on the road with Hertz!"

I have been a customer for several years at their branch on Middlefield Rd., Redwood City.
Always their service was outstanding. Recently I had a problem when a check bounced.
The branch manager, Lexi, sat with me in an office for an hour while she personally
Investigated the source of the problem and fixed it. This was in sharp contrast to the way
I was treated at Bank of America a year ago: I went to that bank in Redwood City after
The B of A phone system refused to give me any information. Their manager likewise
Refused all information and it looked like the bank had stolen all my money. It took a heavy
Hand from Assemblyman Marc Berman's office to correct the B of A. Move your money to SMCU!

People seem to think that LinkedIn is a classy outfit.

No outfit is classy unless you can talk with them! LinkedIn has no email and I
Could not even sign with them because you cannot get support unless you are
Signed in. And I could not sign in without support. Their form rejected my
Clearly-typed name of photo ID.
