So been with Direct TV for almost 4 + years always pay on time, never really pay much attention to the bills. So problem starts one of my DVR boxes stops working, well back up at this point im not sure what it is, all my other TV's work, so I call tech support, do what the guy tells me to do, still nothing, so he,(direct tv) tech says I need a service call and its 99 dollars, well of course I flip and say really this is your 4 year old equipment that I have paid on faithfully and now you want 99 dollars to fix your crap, I look on the bottom of the unit its actually 7 years old dated 2010,
So he gives me a number to call customer retention, well in the mean time I start looking at my bill and to my surprise when I thought I was paying between 119 and 125, I'm actually paying 178.00, really for tv that I barely watch.
So I call there number *******482, call once start my conversation, call drops out, call twice call drops out, so by the fifth time I finally get someone and the call stays on, well by this time Ive had enough. So I speak to I think Peggy, she agrees to wave the service call, I tell her it is definitely the receiver because when I switched with one I know works it works, so first they tell me its 200 to replace the receiver, then there willing to wave the first 100, I told them to forget it, then she say but oh I can send you a refurb for free... wtf why didn't you say that in the first place... so now the bill Im being charged for all kinds of stuff. Once I remove a few things my bill settles down to around 125.
But in the intern I have already contacted Dish net, I can get way better channels, new equipment and for less the price, even after two years its still less then what im paying now.
So November 1st my contract expires and it will be goodbye Direct TV I hope they can afford to lose good paying customers, all they have to do is be honest and warn me when they are billing me for different things... I have a busy life and cant scrutinize every bill they send, I believe that count on this so people just keep paying till something happens.
Oh and I forgot apparently for another 7.95 a month I could have a protection plan for there crapy equipment, go figure

Well got an email from Livingsocial, advertising a Sunbeam shower head, they quoted retail at 112.00, buy it now for 29.00, wasn't sure but figured wow Sunbeam recognized name so after a few emails targeted to me figured for that price and a good name why not. So I purchased... now people wait for it... all of a sudden I'm redirected to some site called Opensky, 29.00 plus shipping, total 33.00, takes forever to get it, they ship DHL for some reason. So today I have some time figured I would install it, omg plastic junk, I'm afraid to tighten to tight I didn't want to break it. Well my friends guess what, its loose, it leaks, its crap... okay now the fun part, I go to the Opensky site, click on return item asks me the reason, I click on its not acceptable and not functioning, as I do this I notice at the bottom I'm not only going to lose the shipping money to get of this piece of junk there going to charge me, 8.41 to send it back and deduct that from my 33.00 I spent.
Okay here is the kicker, when I was reading the fine print on the box its not really the famous appliance company Sunbeam it's some, two bit company called Jarden Consumer Solutions. Which I'm guess buys junk and resells it as a brand name... Can Your Say Fraud... Beware my friends, I'm going to go after Living Social and see how badly they want to tarnish there reputation... oh and here is something else, the shipping label lol is going to Exquisite Jewelry in Brooklyn NY, OMG WTF... beware, Beware, I will update as I elevate this issue, I think Living Social needs to step up.

I have had limited success with Choxi, got some good products at decent prices, but seems they don't do there homework when they list products. Last year I bought some usb car chargers, out of three 2 didn't work, I was informed that I could only return them if I had the originally box, hmmmmmm news to me, who keeps boxes from everything they purchase. So after threatening them they returned my money.
So now again, I bought these outdoor solar Lantern's, looked nice, received them, one look and I could see they were junkie cheap offshore stuff. But giving the benefit of the doubt I hung them in my back yard, Out of the 5 I bought only one worked. Here I go again, but and this is a big but I kept the boxes. So now I wait for the RMA to send them back. Just beware of what you buy on that Choxi site

I'm non paying member of Senior Soul Mates, yet I get multiples of mail, I have 276 messages yet only 116 people have viewed my profile. Its also interesting that I get mail from women 22 years olds, not sure what thats all about. So I really have to wonder what kind of scam there running. Beware before you pay. So far Ive had great luck with POF and thats a freebie site. Update, canceled my profile, so just for fun, made a new profile name, no descriptions, no pictures, virtually nothing, so far I have 76 messages. 27 matches, 36 viewed meWTF there is nothing there. Save your money

Ive had a non paid profile on this site for a while but I notice every few weeks or sometimes days, I get letters from beautiful woman enticing me to contact them, what I find odd is two days ago I had one of the girls contact me, then the very next day another, there profile ID's were only one number away, so I'm calling Bull $#*!, a bit of a coincidence two beautiful lades one number apart would suddenly contact me, Lucky I never paid.
Interesting since I posted this I'm not getting anymore emails from these beautiful ladies hmmmm silver-cafe busted don't waste your money.
